  1. Hey Man... Glad to see someone else from the area... Where do you play?
  2. Sorry I was wrong... You obviously know more about this than I do… I thought I remember reading somewhere or maybe someone told me that what I thought was true… I should have done more research before I posted… I will be more diligent in the future… http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/lofive...p/t115733.html
  3. OK I know Tiger had nothing to do with the clubs I buy and that his clubs I could never buy. What I ment by that was that before Tiger came along and Nike signed him there was no such thing as Nike Golf. I know Tiger has non-Nike clubs and has used them, but what I also mean is that Tiger could not, as part of his contract with Nike, abandon Nike clubs for let’s say Taylor Made or any other company. Also that is what I ment when I said that Nike sat down with Nike to get his clubs made, they said what do you want and he told them and they made him. I am not trying to start a pissing match here all I was trying to point out is that Nike has come along way in a very short period of time and im my opion they have made some really great clubs and equipment.
  4. Here is my Baby Girl... She is a German Pinscher, about a year and a half. My wife and I got here as a rescue...
  5. K.J. Choi plays the SQ Sumo2 and the first time he had it in his bag he won a tourny. Tiger has hit/tested/played with the Sumo2 and he says he likes it, but said he is more comfortable with the driver he is using now. He has always been reluctant to try/use other equipment. But Nike forces him to use their product, it is in his contract. When he first signed with Nike, Nike actually went to Titleist and had them produce a set of clubs for him then stamped NIKE on them. Then they sat down with Tiger and devloped clubs for him and the general public. Now they make a much superiour product now...
  6. I went to my local shop and tried one of these on their indoor range. From the first contact I loved it and new right away I had to have one of these clubs. I heard and read all the bad stuff people were saying about this club and decided I wanted to make up my own mind. Well I have... I got a brand new one off eBay for 100 bucks and I have played it a couple of times and hit it on the range a bunch. All I can say it WOW... The sound is AWESOME, I hold my head high after I hit this thing because I know it has gone straight and where I want it too. People's heads turn because of the sound, but that is because it is the sound of power, not that little wimpy "tink" all other drivers have. The performance is unmatched. No other driver will put as many balls in the fairway as this one does. The shape and look is pure art, who ever said your clubs had to be oval, who wants to play with an a club that looks like it should hold a pair of pantyhose??? This is a great design, great technology, and just plan perfect. Everyone else in the industry is now going to be ridding Nikes success, they are leading and the rest will follow.
  7. Coffee and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a onion bagel before the round. A coke and/or a fruit punch gatorade to put in the cart. The course I play at every three hole they have fcomplimentary water and I usually always grab one. It is the only time I drink water ever. but I never eat during a round Try not to drink booze while playing ruins my game, but at the 19th tee always order two right away and pound one down right away...
  8. I don't know about that one, but I use golflink.com they also have a nice little game tracker thing on there site and the info I have found on it so far is pretty good.
  9. I was chosen by the Golfing Gods about 10 years or so ago. My buddies and I would get together and play at least once on the weekends and hit the range a couple of nights a week. I even quite my job and got a new one at one of the private course in the area so I could play on the course and play more. My biggest problem then was I never really took it all the seriously. After I learned how to swing the club I wanted to do is hit balls and play golf. I had a great time and was definitely addicted. But then it faded for whatever reason, I wound up getting a real job and career. So my golfing habit dwindled to once or twice a year mainly a for the company golf tournament. Ahhh but by the grace of the Golfing Gods they decided to smile upon me once more. For this year’s tournament my father-in-law gave me a set of his old clubs (I gave my old ones away) so I had a set of clubs again and that old familiar itch. I started practice my “air” swing anywhere and everywhere, chipping during lunch at work and hitting the range on the way home. Then again the Golfing Gods decided to be nice to me, my in-laws decided to take all us kids (we are all in our 30’s) on a golfing vacation. Well that was when the Golfing Gods decided that they were going to choose my wife as well. After vacation we started going to the range every other night and playing both days on the weekend. I have gone out and bought both of use brand new shinny golf clubs to call our own. I am tracking every shot I take in a notebook looking to improve in any way I can. Golf Channel is the only channel I watch now. I count the days to the weekend tee times. I have subscribed to Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Golf is all I talk about at work. I have sent up a golf tournament this Sunday with a bunch of guys I work with. I am looking into joining a club for next season. I have found a place I can play indoor golf during the winter. I am thinking about renaming my dog Golf, I have started sleeping with my putter. I go out to my car and check the truck at least every hour to make sure no one has stolen my clubs. Ahhh those Golfing Gods have a sick sense of humor.
  10. I will give you one guess... the 75 stands for the year I went to my first game...
  11. A 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid (just like the one below). Fully loaded, leather heated seats, sun roof, nav system, ect... And I can still get four sets of clubs in the trunk even with the lack of space...
  12. http://www.granitefields.com/Index.asp Granite Fields Golf Club in Kingston NH... Awesome deals and a beautiful and challenging golf course...
  13. WHATS IN MY BAD: Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 13* with Aldila vs proto byyou graphite powered by zyvex (65-r) Dunlop Alta 3 fairway wood Copperidge 5 fairway wood Copperidge 21* and 24* Hybrid (Given to me from father-in-laws set but I like them and hit the well) Nike Ignite 3 Hybrid (part of the set) Nike Ignite Irons 4 thru PW true temper steel shaft uniflex Warrior Custom Golf 52* SW, 54* GW and 60* LW Tour 2005 Putter
  14. I am a Nike Fan... Phil says they are make an inferior club, well just as Tiger how inferior they are... And I don't play them because Tiger does, I like them because they have really come a long way in a short time. Plus on most of the clubs the sell you can't beat the price compared to the rest of the industry.
  15. Morgan Pressel... She is a cutie, girl next door type... And she is the youngest female golfer to ever win a major... FYI she is 18
