  1. @iacas I've been drilling on keeping my right elbow more in front of me. It's a very different 'feel', but agreed that the result is not very different. Need to keep working on takeaway, backswing, and early extension. As far as grinding, I do spend what little free time I get working on swing feels, but again, results are lacking... TBC...
  2. Still working on getting the backswing sorted. Really need to work on the takeaway, but seems like the top is better....Thoughts guys?

  7. Day 3: Today was lead arm supported swings, still focusing on keeping arms in front of me. Been reviewing old comments from MySwing, and trying to incorporate those as much as possible.

  9. day 2: More slow swings focusing on keeping right arm in front of the body. Also did some mirror work. Angles look better, but will need to get some video to confirm.

  12. Tiger is too much of a competitor to go the commissioner route. I see him playing champions tour occasionally and spending time with his family and business interests.

  16. Got out and played the Challenge Course at Monarch Dunes yesterday. Sun was out and 65 degrees or so. Just a nice day for a walk...
  17. The only two I'm saying no to are the Mulligan and the simulator. Everything else would count IMO.
  18. Posting a quick video in preparation for meeting my 2023 goals. Looking back over this thread, I see a lot of the same issues are still there: too flat a swing plane with the shoulders, too much hip turn. Good news is that it looks like my hands are in a better place, but still a lot of work to be done. Really just leaving this here as a before shot in the hopes that I'm able to improve the picture in '23. 52 degree wedge from 105, hit it just long and left @ Monarch Dunes Challenge Course #9

  25. Well, my 2023 goals aren't particularly ambitious, but here goes: More Golf (Simple, right?) This year has been hit or miss, but I started playing with a weekly group locally, so next years goal is to play at least 3/4 weeks each month and to play at least 6/12 of the monthly tournaments here at my local course In addition to playing more golf here at my home course, I'm going to try and play at least 5 new courses that I've never played before. New courses add new challenges, and I feel make us all better golfers,. Lower My Handicap Finally got a GHIN this year and now my mission is to lower it. Currently I'm at 21.9, and I feel 18 is easily attainable, so I will set that as my first goal. In order to do this, I'm planning to do the following: Practice more, including hitting the driving range 1x a week. Video range sessions for review, and potentially updating my 'MySwing' thread as I progress (or digress for that matter) Take a few lessons to identify issues and find items to work on. I'm also going to start using GolfShot to help enable a more detailed post-round review. WISH ME LUCK!
