Listen,don,t u think the USGA knows and understands television ratings.If they have it set-up to where the pros are struggling and the winning score is gonna b +3 the tv ratings will prolly be in the tank.I dont think the casual golf on tv watcher will be entertained by that,we would be but not everybody.I think anything thats tougher than Augusta National is a little ridiculous to me.Even Augusta screws the pros almost every year.I wouldn,t wanna watch pros hit a putt and have it roll back farther from the hole than he originally was,thats bunk.Anything over 13 on the stimp is a little draconian dont u think

Just my .02 I am a every day schlep to work kinda guy.I have a 10 yr.old and an 8 yr.old in Catholic elementary school and a wife who teaches there.We live pretty modestly and my wife gets paid pennies not like public school teachers.That bein said I just got all new clubs this year.I honestly spent any where from 1,000 to 1,500 for my new bag.I cannot afford the 300 to 400 dollar shafts some of u ho,s have.Thats why I grabbed an R11 to b able to adjust and maximize to get the most out of the shaft I could.My numbers were pretty good on the trackman so I bought it.I,m quite happy with it.Now the 3-wood,which is an RBZ,has a garbage shaft.I did get a nice buy from the bay on an Aldila RIP so I pulled the trigger.I got it for 50 bucks.Thats how I usually fund a new shafgt purchase.

I go 4-5 times per week,strength training and weight loss purposes.I keep my golf stretches for after my workout because I feel nice and loose by then.But I really dont do a golf specific workout.I do love doin shoulders and legs though.I absolutely hate chest day.

Welcome Daniel,good job coming down in score that fast,u should b proud of urself.I also believe in what the other poster said,time in on shortgame is vitally important.I used to think it was always the driver that was important,well I suddenly realized that was hogwash.Yes,the drive does initially set u up for a good approach but many a stroke has been lost 50 yds.and in.Especially for me Iam coming down from a 13 hdcp,hope to get to 9 by season,s end.Oh yes,I def. would take some lessons.You will discover it,s an eye opener.Godd luck fellow duffer.

Thx. guys all great info especially u tiger.I was gonna have them do the fitting then but I had to get to a doctor,s appt.Leigh said c,mon back so we can check the lie and loft angles when I get a chance.It,s still early on in the season here in Mass. so i,ve got plenty of time.I,m goin in Friday morn. to have them do that.I also signed up for a 5 pack of lessons @ my local GolfTown.Can,t wait for the great weather.

R11,s and CB,s are both quality sets.Having said that I tried out both and preferred the feel of the CB,s.Any club that u hit bad is gonna give u feed back either thru vibration or loss of distance.IMHO it,s all about what u prefer,just make sure u get fitted and I guess a lesson or two.

Thanks guys I asked because i grabbed an awesome deal.I picked up used Taylormade tour preferred CB,s today at a great price.i live about 30 mins, from the e-bay store called 3BallsGolf.Affectionately known here as joe and Leighs discount Golf.I picked em up for a steal at 400.they retail new at 649.00.These r practically new,even Leigh said that these r practically new.Real great peeps to deal with.I gotta post my WITB for 2012,im effin stoked

Hey guys and gals,can u still get fit to some clubs that u purchased off of e-bay.I mean there will prolly b a price associated with this and I am prepared to pay.But is this commonplace or will I get dirty looks bringing in a set to get fitted and I already pulled the trigger u know?Or at this point am I already screwed.

Well,to re-kit my whole bag which is in progress.Just got the R11 driver,luv it.Getting my on hold RBZ 3-wood tomorrow.Now for my irons,im contemplating between R11 and TM tour Preferred CB,s.Thats one of my goals.My second goal is to come down from a 13 handicap to a 10 or a 9.I dont think a four point handicap drop is asking to much.Especially if im signed up for a five pack of lessons.Bring on 2012.

Right now im gaming the R11 driver and its a monster off the tee.Try one maybe u will enjoy it
