the driver has NO insert(bare wood face),and a SPLICED neck and when i connect with it and hit it pure its just this side of AMAZING...........

highly recommend louisville golf...........have both a driver and a niblick from them just the nicest people to deal with too

longest iron i carry is cleek........predecessor to a 1 iron only wood i carry besides driver is brassie(2 wood) no hybrids yet(still waitin for em to come with hickory shaft...lol)

i have a 14* Brassie for my tee shots and fairway wood shots as well.............was out playin today...............LOVE that sound off the wood woods...................and when i get it on the sweet spot it goes as far as the modern ones just about

i agree totally................thats what ive been doin and so far its workin......DEFINATELY can tell when i hit em good and when i dont.......can hera it,can FEEL it...........................i think it makes you better than you HAVE to be...........................my $.02

old school is the ONLY way ive playe this game......lol.............persimmon,hickory...................etc............love the game............and i have no prob keepin up on the course,have some guys with modern drivers that are hittin em where i do......so far so good

shot 57 for 9 today.................personal best!!!!......including two pars.........first was a par three that i landed my tee shot 8 ft from the hole with my brassie..................last was par 4(ninth) i got a great brassie shot off the tee,my best midiron shot ever to green and then two putted to par.........older guy i got paired up with whos been playin for years and years, watched me and after 3 holes,suggested i put the ball back in my stance(particularly with my midiron) and EVERY shot after was FANTASTIC.................distance,height,roll...........nice when the guys whove been playin awhile take the time and patience to help out a newbie.......love this game......................

EXACTLY.................first hole i EVER pard was done just that way......would have been 1 below but..........lol...................greens were a LIL faster than i thought

still VERY new to this game but ive made a point to use my EQUIVELENT of a 2(18*) and 3(22*) iron and am starting to get some results and i LOVE the long low ball flight they produce,in particular some great tee shots..................the more i learn about this game the more im hooked..........

its a 2 piece low compression ball with a mesh dimple pattern,no on the horse,and occasionally on the book by candle(mostly during blackouts...lol)

i only started playin in October with BLADES........HICKORY shafted blades at that and its been tough,but im startin to improve steadily,and figure some things out...........for me it was just how I wanted to learn the game.....i feel its not that playing blades makes me a better player but rather makes me a better player than i HAD to be.........its a fun challenge,and rather than being frustrated ,its got me HOOKED for life................and i gotta laugh,ive been paired up with guys who've been playin awhile,with MODERN clubs and ive matched em on the tee shots..........its a game,a HELL of a great game,and sooooooooooo much fun..........someday ill break 100.......and keep on goin from there i hope.................ill learn everystep of the way.....and have FUN doin it..................my $.02

my Tee shot on the FIRST whole i EVER parred(been playin since October).with the hardest club for me to hit in my bag,Cleek Iron(18*),perfect straight shot to edge of green,1 short putt,then 1 LONG putt and IN...........par my second hole,2 holes later.................all and all a great day.......shot 58 for 9.......................got the bug bad for this game

shot my best so far on the front nine a 57..................gettin there..............too many two putts ...........................man do i love this game...addicted....PERFECT 50 degree sunny day..............

my personal best SO FAR.............59 for nine............brassie shots were straight and up the middle........for a change my putts were off.....usually im 1 or two putts...............did a couple threes today......overall pleased......just gotta keep pluggin away.........

Tad Moore And Louisville Golf Hickory shafted Irons.since ive never used anything else,i cant say as theres any cons to them,the guys ive been paired up with say "THEYRE BLADES!!! WHY MAKE IT SO HARD ON YOUR SELF? lol"on the pro side theyre a lot of fun

Ive taken up golf this fall(im hooked).....................and with a younger brother,formerly a Pro,i felt i had to go about it differently...........so i went with HICKORY SHAFTED CLUBS....lol...............and a MESH PATTERNED ball............he couldnt believe it......ive really learned alot on this forum and have applied stuff ive gotten here in one way or another to my game....just wanted to say where I was comin from.............and look forward to going forth and learnin as much as i can here................my clubs have names ,not numbers but i look forward to the journey we ALL take together on here findin our own ways......i thank you all very much for all of your postings.........ill jump in where i can and hopefully contribute something to the mix...........bob

monday......41 degrees.......10mph wind.......................i hit a 45 yd bunker shot,w/my mashie to within 1 ft of the flag.........i was stunned........lol.........learned alot good n bad that day................my education continues

55 on the front nine today....38 degrees,10 mph wind and it was gorgeous out...lol...............swingin much better........made some putts i was pretty happy with and some real nice approaches with the mashie......ground was hed as can be,couldnt get the tees down as low as i like em.......so that had me a lil off...............love this game....hooked hooked hooked
