  1. I probably played about 50-60 rounds last year. Looking to double that for this year.
  2. Good luck man, im actually trying to do the same thing that you are. Even though its cold still where i am (lucky to get into the 40s) im trying to play everyday to try and get down towards a scratch by the middle of the summer. Im even gunna try and get a win on the Titleist Junior Tour and maybe qualify for the higher Junior Tour in my area, which i think is Nike. I'd also appreciate any advice as well.
  3. Funny thing is that I don't have a blank check, all i have is the blank . The purchase wont be until the end of summer after caddying. But I asked the quesiton because if i was going to go the upgrade route then i would want to start buying parts as soon as i had the money, but now that i know im going the desktop route i know that the purchase will be made later around the start of my senior year in high school so i want this comp to last me through college if it can. So thats another reason i want it to be jacked up as much as i can get it. An absolute monster computer now can still be a good computer in 3 or 4 years if taken care of.
  4. I think a major consideration when making the decision should be if you aren't going to be really serious about golf, do you still think that you can be competitive even at the JV level. If you are going out there and are getting killed every time i dont think that it will be too much fun for you.
  5. I go bowling with my friends all the time. Usually on Friday or Saturday nights. No, we dont not have lives. The bowling is in a darkend alley with strobe lights, black lights, and lasers and club music playing. Its called Atomic Bowling and its the best.
  6. My set as currently constitued would probably cost about $800-900 total. Thank god for ebay. If purchased retail the set would probably be in the 2-3k range. My favorite purchase was my 2 hybrid for 11 dollars.
  7. I actually am planning to lay down some guitar tracks, after i buy all the equpiment and stuff for that so i am planning to do music recording beside holding my ever expaning music library. And i don't plan to do a great deal of gaming on the machine but a few RTS's that you cant really play on the 360 wouldnt hurt. Im really looking for a computer that can handle pretty much anything i throw at it and will last me a good 4-5 years.
  8. Red Tail Ballymeade Pine Hills Crumpin Fox
  9. The greens at my course are very small. I grew up on them so its really a good thing because it helps you zero in on your target more. So when i go to a big time course with huge greens im thinking "I have that whole green to hit, wow". So its kind of better to grow up on small greens because you need to work harder to hit them and you will become a better chipper because they are harder to hit.
  10. Wow that is strange considering Callaway's record with quality of preowned clubs. Well some lemons do fall through the cracks. Too bad it happened to you.
  11. Although Macs are great comps they are just not for me. I was raised on Windows and thats what i feel comfortable with. Also because i want to do gaming this new comp there is really no sense in getting a Mac because just about all games today are built for PCs and there are really none for Macs.
  12. Yeah, im wicked retarded. The shaft is a Fubuki, not a bassarra. So even more reason to want to keep that shaft.
  13. 24 Law & Order - Original is def the best South Park
  14. Titlest - ZB,Zm, AP2 Taylor Made - Smoke MB, TP MB Mizuno - 67, 37
  15. For all you computer guys who are into hardware i have a question. I need a new computer. I have a laptop right now that is decent 1GB RAM, 120 hard drive. Its good for the essentials. But i also like to do alot more with my comp, Music, videos, gaming, ect. Im wondering is it easier and/or cheaper to get a new computer or should i get new parts and upgrade my current laptop. New graphics engine, more memory, bigger hard drive, ect. Im looking at this little beast right now for a new comp, but am wondering which will be better off in the long run.
  16. I played 4 times this week at my golf coruse in Nahant. Its over by Lynn and Revere in the northshore. Its a little nine hole, i dont think it merits the hour+ ride from around worcester where you live, but if you're absolutley dying to play its an option. We get people from as far away as Whenham and Hamilton come to play. The Cape is a good option too. I usually go and play Ballymeade once or twice during the winter, which is a great course regardless of season. For you its how far are you willing to drive to play.

  18. The player in total is mostly gone. You can take it apart and maybe salvage some parts. The screen is probably gone, but you may be able to keep the motherboard, hardrive, hold + headphone jack, and maybe even the click wheel depending on how bad the water damage is.
  19. Graphite Shafts The Stand Bag U Grooves (Goodbye )
  20. I think i detect a slight wrist cock too early in the backswing, i had this problem and it can make the club get behind yourself a bit and make it harded to get your clubface back to square on the downswing.
  21. I do, I have been taking Aderall daily since i was in the 2nd grade so almost 10 years. Its helped me in school to focus, on the golf coruse i cant really say how much it has helped me however. And honestly i do not feel any difference for when im on or off the medication anymore. My mind does wander on the course but when im over my ball or thinking about a shot im able to stay focused on what im trying to do there.
  22. No havent done any club building or repair, i wouldnt mind learning it but i dont want to risk damaging the the goods.
  23. Well I like the VS Proto, it had the ball flight and feel that i wanted, i just dont feel like spending money on a new shaft. I was just hopin i could swap, i think its a bassara, thats on the FT-IQ and put it on the 907 that has the proto and put that on the FT-IQ. But if thats not an option id want a shaft that would allow me to control the ball, not balloon on me, and be able to hit low through wind if need be, which i couldnt when i had used other shafts. The proto had worked good for me though. I was just hopin that i wouldnt have to shell out another 180 bucks for a new one and throw away a perfectly good bassarra.
  24. Those New Decades u got are real nice grips. I need to redo some of my wedges, they are almost slippery right now, need fresh grips on those.
  25. I have a very high ball flight, so i want a shaft that will keep it low and penetating. One problem that i have if im using a too whippy or a highlaunching shaft is that my ball will either land and take a hop forward and thats it or, my personal favorite, bounce 2-3 yds backward of where it landed. BTW, Jesper is a friend of mine who is new to TST, he was only prodding me, pls dont kill him.
