  1. Hey everybody, i am a student with a part time job as a bartender.... Hey, its harder to manage than it sounds. haha
  2. I am going through an iron change myself, and i demo'd the 735's also and they are awesome.... I would recomend them for your handicap.
  3. She def. deserved her suspension for what she said. When you are in the public eye as a sportscaster is, you need to be aware of what you say at all times. Period.
  4. I have read almost all of Dr. Bob Rotella's books and they have helped me a great deal. My favorite is putting out of your mind, and Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect... Rotella is a great instructor and a great mental coach.
  5. Is the "in-square-in" stroke the same as a "barn door" stroke?
  6. I like to tee up the ball about 1/8 of an inch off the ground. That gives me enough space to make a swing on a perfect lie. It also gives me a little room for error incase i hit it fat.
  7. I've never looked at it that way. I guess it is good if the ball stops on a dime rather than spinning :) Thanks.
  8. Well, in talking with some of my dad's golf buddies they told me that older wedges give you less spin. Ive had my set of vokeys for about 7 years now and i really need to replace them. When i do they will be the spin milled vokeys, porbably 52 56 60? Do i need all 3? Right now i am in love with the nxt tour golf ball. I am a pro v1 guy at heart, but im in college... and im not made of moo-lah.
  9. This winter i am going to really concentrate on 100yds and in. I want to be able to controll the ball more with 1/2 and 3/4 wedge shots. I also want to be able to rely on my full sand wedge for 100-110 yds. I am looking for tips on how to practice generating spin. It would be awesome if you guys have any suggestions.
  10. Right now i only have 1 fairway wood in my bag. It is an origional Titleist PT 5wood. It is 20* with a true temper x100 shaft. This is my favorite club, i can hit it a mile (about 240) and it always straight as an arrow. So i dont really see the need for a 3-wood. I am contemplating getting a 7wood... do you think that is a good idea? And if so, what ones would everyone recomend?
  11. You can count me in for 2.... Theres no doubt he will win at Torrey Pines, but i really think he will come up strong at Augusta. I also agree that Adam Scott will play well there too. Im looking forward to those two duking it out...
  12. Does swing weight have anything to do with the launch angle of an iron?
