  2. I had a similar problem (slicing) and seemed to have corrected today by taking the club back in the middle. Imagine taking it back high (like hitting the ceiling), then taking it back low (like trying to hit a door knob), then I took it back right in the middle. I gained about 25 yards (now 250) within 15-20 yards left/right on target. I also notice the other swings gave me fades with less than ceiling take back and draw with just above door knob, but below middle. This was todays outcome, If I can recreate this next trip to the range I'll be pretty happy.
  3. Ball position can help out with the trajectory, move it up a bit and catch more on the upswing and that should increase it a little. Mind you that a bit could mean a half an inch to an inch depending on your swing consistency. With my 8.5* I can still get pretty good height and carry by adjusting the ball position. Today around 250 yards at the range (at sea level and 45 degree temps).
  4. Your welcome! It took me bit to locate them too.

  6. I just picked up the Cleveland 588 RTG 60* last week and love it. I went with it mainly for price and am very happy.
  7. I hear ya, I have a driving range that is open year round with stalls (kinda like a horse stall but open in the front) and overhead heaters. If not there I have the wiffle type balls that I can fire at a concrete wall in my office. I too am thinking about getting a net of some sort so I can practice indoors (open for suggestions). John
  8. Thanks all, I should have mentioned the ding is on the top near the toe, I'll be using it until it die's or I can afford a new one (most likely die's...lol).
  9. So my driver has this small ding/dent in it, I think its from the last time I flew with them. Will this affect the performance of the club? I haven't noticed a big difference but I still suck and probably cant tell anyway.
  10. I havent played the new CG14 but I just picked up a 588 rtg 60* today and love it! Was there anything about your old 588 you didnt like?
  11. I know when I'm swinging poorly and I toe the ball i.e. multiple shots at the range, I tend to get blisters. When I do swing proper and hit the ball in the correct place on the club face, I don't feel a thing. Thats just my experience in getting blisters, I could be wrong.
  12. I'm going to just wing it and see what happens, either way I need to get out more next year. I'm hoping for at least once or twice a week.
  13. Thats pretty much what I figured, it makes sense for them to do that. I'll have to shoot for first thing in the morning and try to beat the rush. Thanks
  14. I'm still kinda new to the game and have mostly played with others but this upcoming spring I plan on getting out much more. If I walk on to a course will they let me play alone or will they pair me up with someone? I'm not anti social but I think unless I'm out with friends I would prefer to be on my own so I can treat that time as practice and not chit-chatting with some stranger.
  15. 200-225 fairly on target, but thats just recently I started hitting like that. Previously I was about 250 and STRONG slice or pull, lol. This spring I'm hoping to keep it in play and not focus so much on trying to smash it, oh and bring my HI down to a 10......Gotta have a goal!
