I was curious about scoring for handicap purposes...
if i have a blow up hole in my round, I am supposed to score it less then my actual score when reporting for a handicap?
I know its for sandbagging, but since i am not doing that i always just score it what i got.
whats the rule on this?
(not trying to digress, just didnt think the question needed its own thread)
sorry...not talking shit about it... RSJ was actually a great deal... think i paid $30 for 18 holes w a cart during the week.
As i have dogs and not kids i usually dont mind spending a little more for a better overall experience.
Just moved here last year. still finding new places to play.
looking for suggestions...
so far i like Moanrch Beach Golf links the best, and i go to Industry Hills sometimes (i know its technically LA county)
Pelican Hill looks amazing but a little pricey...
I have heard mixed reviews on Tustin Ranch.
Have Played:
Miles Square- Close to home
Costa Mesa - was very slow pace of play
Rancho San Joaquin - Not kept very well
Black Gold - Not bad... good value
Strawberry farms- Not bad, a little pricey for what it is if you dont have a membership...
what is worth trying out???
thanks*
Torrey Pines is awesome! worth every penny!
North Course is $110 weekday.
Called for a tee time a few months ago and they said it was a 2 month wait (not a year).. so i just walk on. As a single, I have no problem getting out in a reasonable time. I even saw a 2some get out from the wait list without a problem...
