Verplank got hosed but it is a penalty nevertheless. He put himself in jeopardy by putting his club down. So at that point it doesnt really matter wether he made the ball move or the wind did.

You said that you read the Zen Books. May I suggest reading Golf Is Not A Game Of Perfect by Bob Rotella. Its an excellent book and will really help you.

I would have to agree. Anybody dumb enough to go after tiger the way he did couldnt have much going on between their ears. Just wondering however, when did Rory go to Adams Golf? If any of you noticed, he was wearing an adams golf visor on thursday at kapalua. anybody know when he switched?

6 Rounds per week during high school golf season (March-May), about 5 rounds per week the rest of the year. (May-October) So roughly 150-200. Im obsessed, I know.

I have a titleist 904f 19* 5 wood that I used for about a year. However, I recently got a 585h 17* utility. I prefer it much better because I hit it lower than the 5 wood, which always ballooned on me into the wind. I would go with the hybrid, but make sure you hit it like an iron and not like a wood.

No, Billy Mayfair needs every last piece of help he can get. And also, if a guy can carry a putter thats looks like a space station, why cant he have a longer putter too?

My stroke is a bit odd. On anything inside roughly 15 or 20 feet, my stroke is straight back and through. However, if I take my putter back any further it naturally arcs and becomes the "Utley" style putting stroke. This allows me to have the simplicity of a pendulum stroke on short putts and the extra feel of the arcing stroke on longer putts. I know that Annika Sorenstam putts this way also.

Id go Titleist. Id miss my mizuno irons, but titleist is just by far the best golf company in the world from drivers to putters.

I would suggest mixing your set, but check the lofts on the different sets. I know the titleist 695 set differ up to 3 degrees from each other. I dont think mizuno differs as much, but check.

I hit the Yes! Sophia model (rear shafted blade). I absolutley love it. Not a fan of the grip, but that was easy to fix. I use the Pingman grip now, love it. No cons on the putter, great feel and rolls the ball well.

This may sound wierd but tee the ball higher. It will make you sweep the ball off the tee instead of hitting down on it. That should take some spin off.

If you are satisfied w/ your ballflight, move the ball back a little in your stance so that you are "trapping" the ball. That should fix your problem.

I would definitely say that Adam Scott is now the best player w/o. I have to say though I was beginning to like Sergio until he made those stupid comments at the end of the British. However, I do think Adam scott has the talent, and everybody knows he has the swing (best swing on tour in my opinion) to win majors.

In your case, I wouldn't say you need a 3 wood. Sine you hit the heavenwood like a fairway metal, you already have what you need. I think your set is just fine.
