2. I have hotrod cars coming into the store with stealth matte black apple logos stuck on them. Myself...I just bought 2 i7 chromeboxes.
3. Wow..ok I play golf with this black guy who used to work for me ans he curses really loud. "S**t" and "F**k". What are you guys telling me? That I am somehow responsible for his behavior? Did my poor grammar make you think that that I am responsible for this guy? And yeah these are my people. I will not apologize to you for them, or my life for interacting with them. I actually would ask if you are not an overinsulated academicilly sensitive mind?
4. Whatever you do, dont delete the posts. He would look upon it as some weakness you thought he could not overcome. Fair warnIng for softies.
5. No I dont. It is really just the melting pot of America. I play with a former employee, turned business owner that does the same thing. It is not my place to say anything from the inside to the skin. But once it leaves his skin I will call him an idiot when it suits me. He is a black guy I actually paid 2300.00 to bail out of a prison for unpaid checks. His favorite word is shit, he hits wayy to steep, and he doggedly wants to improve, though my "refined" wife would never understand his presence at my dinner table. I dont blame her he is a basic black guy.
6. You have to learn how to complain around this joint.
7. I am tiger hater. I havent had anything good to say about his attitude in a long time. But...if he wants to come back, to quit saying fu*ck off the tee, to show show class as he earns what nobody is going to give him, then I think he will improve the competition. He was maybe 17th in the field? So he can earn it forward. If he can.
8. Yeah I see that. Imagine looking through binoculars backwards and you get my perspective.
9. Try desktop mode.
Are you a quaker? Wear a bowtie?
10. It appears you've uncovered a good reason to have signatures show up on m.tst as I can't see the link you are possibly refering to on my phone.
11. Am I at a bad tv camera angle when I say it looks like his left foot is open but his right foot is square to the putts?
12. Buy the Lowest Score Wins book. Read it and especially the part where the serious players end up with 95% of their weight on the front leg through impact. If you can not get your weight moving through the ball at impact you will never provide the energy necessary to send a longer club downrange to a meaningful distance.
13. What is the slope and etc rating for Augusta on Sunday? Just wondering how to compare it to my local muni.
14. Ok. that is a big haid driver. It has a dollar value vs what it does for you? Cool, economics has become part of the game in the last decade or so.
15. And dynamic lie angles become exaggerated as shafts become longer. Flex becomes softer slightly.
16. That's what I need to start doing. . .oh, wait you meant tip after they cut it? :-D
Only if they roll a ball and cut the hole over where it comes to rest.
17. When you say "size of my pitching wedge" I have to invoke some request for clarity, as that phrasing seems not the size, but rather the height of the handle end from the ground. If you like the setup of the handle height to the ground at 34.11" on your 5i, then the wedge that is at 64° lie could have a overall clubhead+shaft length exemplified in this photo, barring of course any preferences you have acquired as a taller person using shorter standard length clubs. The wedges are longer given the lie. By using both 1° up (+1" equivelent) in conjunction with +1" actual length, you see what your fitter was giving (+2" effectively) fits roughly the same as a this actual measurement. I am not advanced enough to tell you if the forces used on one setup or the other are equivelent, and would leave that for the more knowledgeable members of this site. I can say I have used these setups myself and actually gained yardage on my 5i but mainly found consistency in the shorter clubs.
18. Are the lie angles of the clubs all 64°? If so the shaft lengths should all be the same and gap distances can be tweaked with loft instead of you being forced to raise your wrists into a more outward and upward setup. The rest of the clubs make you do this as they get longer and somewhat flatter. How long is the shaft of your favorite iron/wedge? What lie is it? If you know this, it has a hidden number that you can discover describing a preferred handle height at setup. The lie of that favorite club(s) plus the angle described by the shaft grip end straight down to the ground has to = 90° and with that upper angle and the club length you have enough info to calculate how high you like to set your hands on your favorite club. You can google for a trig calculator and fill in the values. Once you know this preferred height of hands it can be applied to the other clubs based on the lie. I like this idea in wedges, where I find .25 shaft length changes virtually useless. I would be cautious about applying the idea to longer irons and especially fairways and driver as it is a standard to allow the hands to progress up and away as the clubs get longer for swing reasons.
19. When you turn 75 or 80 you might use their gear. . .
Easy there youngster...
20. I don't condemn anything that gets more people to golf. If my goal wasn't to get to or just under 10HC and couldn't hit as far as I do, I might use this stuff. As far as I can tell, it only adds 40 yards with their special balls. More people would simply be able to play standard length courses. . .
Buy it. Its fun and wont change your score I am betting.
21. This is a good point; my golf buddy is a good striker. Mid to upper 70s on hos card mostly.
22. The best thieves are subtle ones like the pickpockets of Paris. +15 is not a number you will see in the bag as an odd club. Personally I would prefer a crossbow. I could really get my ball out there and they look cool. The marshalls would be more respectful also. In for a penny of illegal club, in for a pound.
23. Did not know the usrga was even a thing. I wonder if it came about with Polaras help specifically for this reason?
24. I would like to expand on your use of the word "effective", and though many might focus on distance, I would mainly be curious about accuracy related issues.
