  2. I own and teach golf at Cahill Golf Schools in Palm springs Ca, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis MN. I have been teaching for 36 years and have a a Master Professional PGA certification. I love teaching golf.
  3. It should not be necessary to drop the hands down and in to initiate the forward swing unless you are above your swings inclined plane. If you are on plane and crossing over the top of the plane slightly you can play your fade all day long. If you get too far over the plane weal left to right shots result. If you are on plane at the top pay attention to your down the line video to see how you are turning your torso and your pelvis. A fair number of people also come over the top by pushing their arms at the target line.
  4. Matt, Actually alot of good stuff happening. A few simple adjustments one of which you already see for yourself by watching your video. 1. Picture three center of gravity points on your body throughout the back swing: head center between your eyes, Sternum center, and pelvis center at your belt buckle. Turn you torso perpendicular to your established spine angle without moving the three center of gravity points away from their starting positions. The three points will not move laterally or up and down. 2. During the back swing, up to the point where your club shaft is parallel to the ground, keep the clubhead moving down the target line. Using the v-1 app you can record and send your swing to me. Type in CAH at he send button I can show you model videos.
  5. Great article. I have been using this posture the last 2 years. My lower back is finally pain free. I now teach this posture to all of my students. Perfectly presented.
  6. i have been golfing since i was 10 years old and working at teaching golf for 37 years... you would think that i have the thing completely figured out. Not so. I learn new aspects of the swing every day. This is the great thing about golf. There is no limit ti the challenge of getting better.
