  1. Waterfowl Habitat Management. I own Geese Relief a company that harasses and haze geese. We work mainly in Southern Oregon keeping geese off of golf courses, city parks, farms and ranches. Most of my business is with golf courses so not only do I play lots of golf I get to spend most of my working hours on a golf course. Since my dogs and I are good at what we do there is plenty of free time to hit balls or play a few holes.
  2. Purchased many items from them. The only problem I had was trying to return some gloves that they sent out that were the wrong size. Never the less I still buy from them
  3. Tiger was trapped and she had to rescue him. When he came too all he saw was Erin starting to swing a club at the back window. He screamed ........No not the Scotty, not the Scotty......Crash....glass and metal pieces of a golf club go flying all over the inside of the Caddy. Erin says..... I got you baby your are going to be alright.......Tiger, moans.... Erin why, why did you use the Scotty. My career is over, three hundred shity Nike clubs in the house and you have to pick up the Scotty.....
  4. The TV networks hope it is Tiger and Phil on Sunday with Phil wining in a playoff
  5. For sale Callaway driver. Must sell this great driver as I can not control it and I fear that it is way to long for the golf course I am currently playing. This pro line Callaway driver is like new, it has only been hit a few times on the driving range. I am using my three wood off the tees instead as I need the control and not the distance. Please call or send a text to Lefty 1-800-bad-idea. PS. I will throw in the matching three wood also because I can not control it either. It shows heavy use but you are getting two clubs for the price of one. Please call because I bet I am going to need the money after this weekend.
  6. Which major is more fun to watch on TV, the Masters or the US Open? So far this year it is the US Open because of the risk and reward that Torry Pines is presenting the players. Some guys are playing it safe and other are going for broke. Now that is golf. The way the Masters is set up now it is almost impossiable to come from way back by making a string of birdes with maybe a eagle in the mix. Plus this week you don't have the piped in song bird that is on a continues loop and the sappey music tht CBS plays over and over. What I saw in the last two days is if you can keep it in the short grass you have a chance to post a low number. To me that is what championship golf is all about. So which major is more fun to watch?
  7. You stated.... "I felt bad when I saw the ball heading towards them, but I never figured out why they drove to the bridge only to come back..... The answer is.........What can two lawyers do when things are slow at the office and they need a case to make a few bucks.........
  8. You should of hit your driver and then turned and screamed as loud as you can. "I crushed that mother !!!! Did you see how far that sons a bitch went?? Good God I am a golfing monster!!!". Put another ball down and hit it only to turn and scream in his face. YESSSSSSSSS that ball is crushed!!! holy crap I nutted it!!!!!. Turn hit another ball and go through the screaming all over again only this time try to grab the phone while screaming "Tiger is that you? Can you hear me? Come on down and let me give you a lesson on how to crush a golf ball or are you afraid? Tiger I know that it is you so get your ass down here. Now. Is this guy with the phone a spy for you? Are you trying to get a free lesson out of me? Huh is that it? Come on down Tiger. Tiger are you listening to me? Turn hit another ball and scream in his face all over again. If you did that on every swing he would leave thinking you are crazy or drunk. After he left you could go back to just hitting the ball and working on your game all the while knowing that some rude guy with a phone thinks he just had a run in with the craziest golfer in the world. Now that would be fun
  9. Living in the Northwest I get to play at least 3-4 times a week or more, almost year round. But as I type this it is raning hard so I think I should stay home and work. ......... But who am I kidding I will be out there this afternoon trying to figure out what went wrong in a Monday night Chapman tournament I played in last night.
  10. Yes I do. You have to love the sound that they make when you walk on cement. It is a sound that I remember from my days of football, baseball and golf. Glory days from the past........... Get two or three guys walking across the parking lot with steel on and you will know what I mean.
  11. I prefer going out around 2:00 pm. All the morning men’s and women’s leagues are done and it is getting to hot for most people. I have the course to myself and can get in at least 18-27 holes and play two or three balls before the 5:30 just got off work bunch shows up.. Late afternoon is when the wind comes up and it makes for a great challenge. I like the feeling you get when you think you are the only person on the course. When I do run into another group I say to myself. "What are they doing on my golf course" Love the late afternoon............
  12. 8 dozen Pro V 1 balls with the pro shop credit that I won playing in a tournament last year. I then sold them on e Bay for $308.50
  13. How can you enjoy the golf which is suppose to have so much at stake when there are cars and trucks driving by in the background. My local city course doesn't have that kind of interruptions
  14. I would have to say the fat guys. That way I would look like a god to her and sure as hell would be a lot more fun to be around. I mean come on.......a boaring business guy or someone who plays lots of golf and a life.
  15. Crooked River is one of a kind for the views but the lesser of the three you picked as far as quality of golf. Rivers Edge just seemed to hard for me and I do not like teeing off with a iron on par 4 or 5's. Juniper is great. My club has a sister agreement with them so I play free with only a cart fee. If you are looking for a nice place to play that is fairly open and in good condition I would go out to Prineville and play Meadow Lakes. I play there a lot as it is always empty and they have great rates after 2:00pm. I think the last two years I played unlimitied golf there for around $25.00. I got in 36 holes as I was with justo one other person and the course was almost empty. It was hot in the summer but it was great golf. I think it is the best golf in Central Oregon for the money. Lots of good golf for little money. I think my favorite is Quail run in LaPine. Just like Sunriver but alot less money. Nice people also and a very nice open playable course. Not pretentious at all. Have fun and enjoy one of the best places for golf in the US.
  16. The reason I do not like Lost Tracks is I was treated badly there one day. It may of been just the person working the pro shop but I did not have a good experience that day and have never been back. Widgi Creek is fun for me as it is long and tight with lots of trees. I love the sound a driver makes when you are hitting down a tree lined fairway. That whack and a kind of a echo sound. Black Butte Glaze Meadows it the best I have ever found for that. I will have to ask around if Pronghorn is open to the likes of myself. I think you need to be a guest of a homeowner to play.
  17. I quoted the above because I was confused. Why would you want to practice with a different shaft than you play in tournaments? To me, the would be about the worst possible thing to do with a club as fickle as the driver.[/QUOTE] I knew hen I posted about using three different drivers that someone would pickup on the problems it could cause. But here is the deal. When I use my tourney driver I feel like I can hit it long and straight every time. And the proof is that I won the club championship senior division 2nd flight last year. My 4 man scramble team won the largest tournament of the year for the second straight year using my drives over 65% of the time. The last two years have been very rewarding with wins in some lessor tournaments plus a few seconds and a third. The strongest part of my game comes tournament time is my drives. I don't know if it is the driver with the high dollar shaft or if I just think I can hit it down the middle each time and that causes me to succeed. Maybe it is just luck. But it is a great feeling to have other players ask if you will play on their teams just for your drives The thing is that I know I can hit the Tourney driver long and straight but I don't want to wear it out or break it as I don’t think I can find that setup again with out spending big bucks. So for that reason I will not use it on a daily basis. As long as my driver rotation works I will stick with it. I would not recommend this practice to anyone but it sure works for me.
  18. Oregon has so many but the best has to be Bandon and Pacific Dunes which I live about 90 minutes from. Then there is the Bend area. I have family that lives there so I make the two hour trip over the hill to play Black Butte, Aspen Lakes, Quail Run, Widgi Creek, the three Sun River courses (Crosswaters is the best). Plus one of the best in the Bend area is the new public course Juniper. Then there are the ones I will never get to play, starting with Pronghorn and so many more.
  19. I do love my TaylorMade R5 drivers. Yes I have three of them. One each for practice, league and then my newest R5 with a Fit on 11 Six shaft for tournaments. I also have a new TaylorMade Burner 3 wood and a few R580 fairway clubs I use off and on. My putter is also a TaylorMade Monza Corza I had the TaylorMade R7 XD irons for the last year and really tried to like them. I never felt like I was making good solid contact so I sold them and went back to my old set of Orlimar Hip Steel irons. Don't laugh....they are the best set of irons I have ever hit. I buy and sell clubs on e Bay for a living so I get to try them all. God I do love my Orlimar's. They were so ahead of their time with looks performance, distance and control. I am trying to find another set to buy so I can have a back up for when I wear out this set. I like TaylorMade a bunch and it may be a status thing to carry them but all that "Image is everything" crap does not help me with my irons. I go with the brand that works when it comes to iron play.....Orlimar Top it all off with my 3 Vokey wedges and Pro V 1 balls and I am ready to go. The only things holding me back is my talent........ or lack of.
  20. Got to love just about anything from Credence Clearwater The Stones The Doors Chicago........I'm a Man Spencer Davis Group.....Gimme Some Loving Most songs from Queen Some of The Who's
  21. I have no respect for someone who has tons of talent but not the brains to realize how great of a life he has. What a waste. I wish I had his talent and my love of the game. Let him flip burgers at Wendy's for a couple of years. Then maybe he will realize how good he had it. Without golf he would be just another guy sitting in a bar smoking and drinking his life away. Golf gave him a life that we all wish we had and made us aware of who he is....... or should I say was.
  22. Why is it that golfers on the driving range can hit the guy in the cart picking up range balls and everyone thinks that is great fun, but when someone hits a bird the whole world wants to hang the idiot?.......... I’m not saying what he did was ok. I am saying “what is wrong with our values”. You hit the kid picking up balls you should be held to the same standards as the guy who drills a animal.
  23. Pin in. I love the sound the ball makes when it hits the pin and then drops hard into the hole. Love that sound and I feel the pin gives me a feeling that it will stop my ball if I happen to hit the shot to hard
  24. Short game......Short game.......Short game........ That just kills me. Never leave myself a short one putt.
  25. My TaylorMade TP R5 Neutral 9.5* with a Fit on!-11 (six) Fujikura stiff shaft are perfect for hitting a draw. I used to slice badly but about three years ago I worked hard to cure my slice. Now I hit a draw or if it goes straight it will stay to the right side of the fairway which on my home course is usually the safe place to be.
