  1. Yikes, you'll never be consistent with that major cast and flip, with a very right arm/hand dominated release that you have there. I wouldn't worry abou the leg action, it looks fine to me. I would start with some chip 7 irons to see what impact feels like with your hands ahead of the club face. Address the ball normally, then forward press your hands to the middle of your lead thigh. Take the club back with out any arm or wrist break down to about waist high and bring it back through the ball without any hand movement. After awhile you can start adding a little wrist hing on the back swing and increasing your swing arc. w
  2. I think most people realize 90 is half turn, and 45 degrees is a quarter turn. w
  3. Can you please send me some of that hair growth treatment that you used in between the videos? The difference is amazing!
  4. Most likely you are hitting the ball off center on the driver face, which is torquing the driver over and turning the shaft in your hands.
  5. So we all love how we find a band-aid fix that dramatically improves our golf game! During my last round, I was hitting the ball all over the course. However, on the 16th hole I found myself thinking that I needed to play the ball just a little bit forward in my stance, and forward press my hands. I just had the picture in my mind, tweaked the setup and hit the ball to 12 feet from about 160 out. For the remaining holes, the ball striking was consistently good, with GIR's, all shots within 20 feet of the hole, and one near ace on a par three. Assuming that this was some phantom fix for me that wouldn't "keep working", I went out and played nine holes last night. Everything worked just as well, and I had my best nine hole score ever, a 41. I was totally intrigued, so I had my wife take a picture of the setup change just so I could remember what I've been doing. I'm fairly sure I must be compensating for some other issue in my current swing. Any ideas?
  6. Right... Wrong shaft, wrong ball, wrong angle of attack, lots of factors. What is your typical ball flight?
  7. Can we extrapolate that men play better golf then women in low light situations from the following article? I was intrigued.... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31638222...ience-science/
  8. Not sure, I have a Mac.
  9. Wow! Fun looking hole! Nice of the designer to give you that bunker on the right if you bail out! Here's my favorite. Par 3, 160 yards, about 100 feet elevated tee, creek short, and big two tier green that slopes back to front. http://www2.truman.edu/~whowd/golf/number8.mov
  10. Here's a screenshot I nabbed off a big guy (6'5") hitting a senior flex 7 iron:

  12. I'd pretty much want something like iYardage that takes advantage of the GPS and serves as a scoring tool. Weather specific alerts I could take or leave - typically if things look dicey I'll check the forecast before I go using one of the existing weather apps (WeatherBug, Weather.com). After the round is started I don't need any weather related alerts or information -- I'm already outside! Walt
  13. Just got back from the show - Team USA really put their hearts into today! You should have seen how fired up all the rookies were... When Mahan sunk that putt on 17... When JB hit that drive and wedge to two feet. It was fun to see Azinger and AK leading the cheers
