i'm thinking of getting a 54º and a 60º vokey spin milled (when they come out with the new ones) and having them bent 1º strong to 53º and 59º, each with 8º of bounce.

so what did you end up shooting? and who did you go to play with?

i think for an amateur player, his swing is fantastic. as for a 6.5 handicap's swing, i don't know but then again, that's the interesting thing about golf and sports in general. Someone could shoot even par and have an ugly swing (not that this is ugly, it's just not "perfect" per say) while another guy could shoot 15 over with a gorgeous swing and follow through just right.

everybody is doing everybody else. i like it! -
one swing for all shots. play the ball slightly less in the front of your stance then you would with a 3 wood or driver and then just take your regular swing, bring the clubhead down to the ball and voila.

i was actually just venting out something that's been in my head and no, it's not showing off. it's the truth and if one person has a problem with that, then there's nothing i can do about it.

here's my plan : i'm going to go to college this fall and continue to do so until i feel like my golf game is getting to a point where i'm ridiculous. if it never gets there, then so be it. basically, i need to finish school. i'm going to give it my all for the next three years and see what happens. if after that time, when i have my degree at age 26, i feel like i'm good enough to golf, i will make my move to florida and try to do it. maybe just play in the Gateway Tour or something...we'll see. i have plenty of time between now and then to figure things out; hey, i still want to play in a rock band so i've got to get on that now don't i?!

did u buy the scotty? btw, trying to message u about golf at ten am tomorrow.

After this year of college, i'm seriously thinking about packing up and moving to the big FL. For real. I don't like school and i don't know why i'm going back. I just bought an apartment and i really don't want to live in it. I like manhattan and i like modeling but i'm sick of it. I want to do something adventerous and daring, something near frickin' impossible so... If you had $400,000 from selling an apartment, no college degree and you were 24 years old, what would you do?

for real! when i spend my time on the range and at/around the practice green, i see massive improvements in my game. the ideal scenario for me is : PRACTICE/PLAY DAY 3:00 PM 20 minutes chipping 20 minutes putting 20 minutes lobs/sand shots 4:00 PM 15 minutes wedges/irons 15 minutes woods/driver 4:30 PM Play a round of 18 PRACTICE DAY ANYTIME 25 minutes chipping 25 minutes putting 25 minutes lob/sand shots 25 minutes wedges/irons 25 minutes woods/driver and then do it again later in the afternoon.

i just wrote a post about how much i have and how little i appreciate it. i'd like to change that.

i just realized how lucky i am after reading someone's post in the golf equipment forum. they mentioned in their post that on their "wishlist" was a pair of adidas tour 360s. wow. i can literally go out and buy 10 pairs of those shoes tomorrow and though i might feel like a complete douche after doing so, it really wouldn't hurt me that badly, financially or any other way possible. i constantly complain about where i am in life. constantly complain that i don't have a recording contract with a band, that i'm not a professional athlete, that i'm not as heavy as i want to be. i complain that i only live in a studio apartment and not a big and beautiful one. i complain that i don't have a fancy car, etc. etc. but seriously, WTF is there to complain about? i have an apartment on 72nd street in manhattan. i live with a beautiful brazilian model who is super fantastic. I mean, i even complain about that because she's older than me and has been with some famous guys in the past but who gives? why am i complaining? is it because i'm not somewhere special? i just wrote how i have NOTHING to complain about. a pair of shoes isn't on my wishlist...i really don't even have a goddamned wishlist! i haven't since i was maybe 17 years old. seriously, i need to realize how much i do have and just enjoy it. no more online poker playing. no more blowing money. no more complaining about my body. i just need to get up and do it. done.

I love Titleist! (new stuff that is desired)
JYB replied to JYB's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
i really dig yes! putters and i def. want to custom order an abbie forged (unless they come out with something spectacular in the spring). alas, i won't be getting anything until the spring so this list might change, depending on what is released between now and then. -
Paddy is going to rip Tiger up. That's just my opinion. can't wait to see it next season.

i don't have the $ for all that. i'm going to use the college sponsorship and get a discount. i won't be buying anything until next spring anyways and even then, there's a huge waiting list for AP2's and i'm sure there is going to be a wait for all the 909 stuff. -
A best selling idea for next generation of golf balls
JYB replied to JYB's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
umm how? you can already use the sweet spot finder. let me re-word my statement : have the "sweet spot" in the ball found and marked, that's what i'm trying to say. have http://www.golfsmith.com/products/24...et_Spot_Finder done to every ball before they're packaged and sold. -
Why not have the golf balls pre-gyroed? You know what i'm talking about? Have each ball have the "AIM" line written across where the axis of the ball is. So before every ball is packaged, put it through a larger version of the ball gyro that is sold to us consumers. Its a great marketing idea! Do it!
