  1. just because i like sergio's swing better he gets my vote. the whole 'clubhead almost hits his right ear on the downswing' factor is great to see imho!
  2. Elkington is a jerkoff
  3. 270 usually on the button! Hopefully more with my new driver!
  4. exactly, could be a lob wedge if there is water or bunker in front of you.
  5. i love my 2 iron! its great for me and i hit it straight 95% of the time. apples and oranges!
  6. haha, thanks! i love my 2 iron. especially off the tee on a short 4! moreso then anything people are amazed i hit it straight EVERY time. ha!!!!!!!
  7. amen to that! i am a big boy and still would use my 2-3 iron. 5 iron i cant even imagine hitting that far.....
  8. get forged wedges! they hit more pure and feel stellar...i need to take my own advice.
  9. stiff! consider taking accuracy over distance!
  10. 2 iron! short 2 iron but almost always the club from this range.
  11. thanks guys im with you on the tee height thing!
  12. thanks guys. too bad since i just bought the thing. ha! figures. Ill play it out this year and see how things go on the course then decide from there. All things considered I should give it a chance on the course, with my tee height and my balls. Range balls stink and I was on a mat using those rubber tees that have a set height.... I like low burner drives and light shaft on my driver...hence the swing speed! Agressiveness?....My tempo is average but I definately 'attack' the ball. Im 6-2 235 lbs I think a stiffer driver shaft would be wise. The prolaunch red looks like what Im looking for. Whats the average price to have a shop reshaft this club? I am not doing it yet though! I want to give this a chance like it is. haha
  13. Got a new Ping G5 9 degree driver with the Prolaunch Blue Stiff shaft on it. Went to the range today and the blasts were crazy high (I fear when I have to use this into the wind...) LONG as heck but too high for my taste. My driver head speed is around 110mph normally, should I have bought an extra stiff flex? Is this why the balls are launching into orbit? Ball flight was very much like my standard 4-5 iron trajectory...PS, this is my first 460cc driver and I haven't bought a driver in 10 years so maybe this is normal with newer type drivers??? your thoughts?
  14. I 'think' I dig steel best for the accuracy alone. I am always one to sacrifice distance for nice accuracy. What do YOU like best?
  15. Mizuno rocks! Titleist a close 2nd.
  16. 9 degree for me. Ive had all different lofts and love the 9. Id rather sacrifice some distance for accuracy off the tee. I love low burners that peak height WAY out there, for my woods and my irons even! My buddy has an 11.5 or 12 and it was kind of a joke for me to even look at it. 9 degree at address just looks 'right' to me.
  17. hey leek i thought the urs srixon had more short iron spin?
  18. for me, 39.99 isnt too bad a price
  19. I voted Sand because I can do mostly everything with it but the more I thought the more I realized I use my 48* PW more. 110 yds in its always a cut bumper PW and even bump and run PW's are killer too!
  20. I use Mizuno MP-33's and i LOVE the look! Gives me a TON of confidence
