  1. Totally agree. I don't know if Trevino is suppose to be some short game guru, but I'll like to think there are a bunch of other well established short game teachers out there that Chris could contact.
  2. I'm not even gonna lie, I'm pretty excited. I haven't been this excited about any tournament since the Farmers Insurance, these other guys just don't do it for me. I really don't have high expectations for him, but I know the media will hype the heck out of it.
  3. Talk about moving the needle
  4. Amen to this right here. Just shaking my head at some of the comments
  5. You and me both. Hopes are high, expectations are low.
  6. Was he that bad at Farmers Insurance open? If memory serves me right, he played his first 9 at Par. Doubled the 10th and withdrew at 2 over from injury. I'm not sure it as "embarrassing" as some may think. There were able bodied players who finished worse after the first round.
  7. Care to elaborate more on why he's accurate? Is it a technique issue that can't be fixed in 2 months, or is it perhaps a mental issue that Chamblee is privy to? I inquire because you seem quite confident of Chamblee's accuracy.
  8. How did he come up with that 20% number? Does he have any specific insight or just speculating again? If Tiger isn't playing, it's in ANGC's best interest that he keeps the suspense going because the ticket will still have a higher value than if he came out to say he isn't playing. There are reports that he shot 74 on his visit to Augusta.
  9. I should make a card game called jump to conclusions. Moderator draws a card that has a scenario described on it, and your objective will be to come up with a technically sane, but baseless conclusion. The crazier your leap of logic, the higher your score. There will be some natural winners on this thread
  10. I'm impressed, but I'm not surprised. We all know what he can do when he's in the zone, It was evident when he shot that 62 at Bridgestone two years ago. As for the Masters, I would be surprised if he's already told the folks over there that he's playing in the tournament. He may just not care about telling the public about his intentions of playing.
  11. I swear I dislike speculating on such personal matters, but that bolded comment could easily mean he wasn't outgoing enough, or something of such nature, as oppose to him having a temper. Just my unsolicited 2 cents. Again, best of luck to both parties.
  12. Wow, this truly saddens me. I wish each one of them the very best and a healthy recovery from this situation. I really liked them together.
  13. Lmao at "distraction". Are you aware of last year's TV ratings? How about how tickets performed compared to when he plays? If you are, then you wouldn't be surprised that the media is whipping up a frenzy about the possibility of him playing. Corporations love it too, more eyeballs show up when he plays, and that's good for business. If the master's doesn't "deserve the distraction", you should lodge a complaint against the media.I doubt he should stop existing because media outlets want to cover his every move. I do agree with your point on those other guys being at the top of their game, unfortunately then don't move the needle. Period.
  14. Well, yes...relatively speaking.
  15. Hahaha!! Perhaps subconsciously, or maybe he and I just think alike.
  16. Saying here that Augusta/Masters is unlike any other course/tournament is like preaching to the choir, it's a tournament that requires you to truly be on your game, but also have all your neurons firing at the right level. Jimmy Walker is on his game and I expect him to be there, but I'm not sure those neurons will fire just right on Sunday. He stumbled through the gates at Pebble last year, and his wins have been at average tour events. To his credit, he has had top 10s at big time events. I hate ruling anyone out because I think it comes of haughty, but I'm not sure either Reed or Speith have a chance at winning unless that got a runaway lead like Kaymer at Pinehurst. Speith doesn't always seem composed on Sundays near the lead, especially last year. He might be getting better at it. If either Bubba, Stenson or Rory smell a piece of the lead on the weekend, get ready for a crazy shootout. My gut tells me to pick Ryan Palmer, but that sh!t is wrong often. I'll pick him anyways.
  17. I'm guessing this is suppose to be satire. If it is, then it's somewhat funny. If it's meant to be serious, then I'm respectfully speechless
  18. Interesting video, thanks for posting it. Love seeing walking golfers
  19. 15 hours isn't really that much. I still spend anywhere between 1 to 2 hours in the gym daily depending on whether I do Cardio or not. It's a lifestlye in itself and I'm not even jacked. With the proper trainers, training, and equipments, I don't how his longevity can be adversely affected by his exercise. Really love that dead lift bar too.
  20. Hit a bad shot and Johnny Miller sounds the nerve alert.
  21. What sounds logical to you is somewhat a matter of how intelligent you are. If I were you, I would simply do the research before I type away. Nothing like a Tiger-related thread to bring out TST trolls. Anyways, back on topic. My money is on Ryan Palmer. Don't let me down, Ryan!!
  22. I see this all the time, and I can't tell you how gross it is. I agree with the middle aged dudes being the worst, the lines some of these dudes use are as lame as they come. Guys my age (late 20s) can be pretty horrible too....
  23. Yep, that will definitely be the worst thing that could happen to the event. No doubt about it.
  24. Good to see someone who plays a lot of the same courses I do on here. (RU, Neshanic, Quail, Warrenbrook, Green Knoll).
  25. Improve my short game. (60% or above) Hit more greens (at least 12 greens/round is my goal) 30 putts or less per round. I don't miss fairways by much, but I'll take some more fairway hits (Technically speaking). Top 3 are my main focus this year,
