  1. golfingdad FWIW, I agree with your original and subsequent posts. The twisters are out there. Be careful.
  2. I have the "Golf Buddy" Clips on your hat, audio talks to you. Press the button and it gives you the yardage from front center or back of green. It's rechargable and about $125.00 on Amazon. I love it as I don't have to take time lifting and sighting a target. Just pull up to your ball and press the button. Every course in the U.S. is recognized and included.
  3. Story of my life. I may try all of the above tips.
  4. 5' 8" 157# But yup, I like khakis and loose cotton shirts. Tatoo's.............NOT!
  5. Barnes looks like a house painter out there
  6. What's with the racial comment? Don't have much use for guys that hit into the group in front of them either
  7. Rick Martin said: "I think players like Fowler, Olesen, and Jonas Blixt bring a much needed flair to the PGA." Just like tatoo's bring a much needed flair to the NBA................Not
  8. My Picks: Keegan Bradley for all the wierd moves. Ricky Fowler for the circus clothes. Ian Poulter for his wise-ass attitude.
  9. What happened to "Global warming"?
  10. Mac62 I couldn't have said it better myself. I get real anxious when we have a guy slowing us down. My buddy and I can play 18 in a little under 3 hours, and I shoot mid to high 90's.
  11. Palmer, Lee Travino and Fuzzy Zoeller Why? Because on top of being top pro's, they were the guys I'd love to sit and have a beer with. They exuded class and fun all in the same wrapper.

    Nicest pros?

I ran into Arnold Palmer twice by accident. Not at any tournaments. The first time was in the mid 1980's at Palwaukee airport outside of Chicago. We were having lunch at the restaurant, and Arnie walked in, white shirt and tie, to go upstairs to flight operations and check in. He had just landed his jet. He stopped at our table after I pointed him out to my business partners and chatted for a few minutes. The second time, in 1998, I was golfing with corporate buddies in Palm Desert. That evening we went to a restaurant, and waiting for a table, we went to the bar room. Lo and behold, Arnie, cocktail in hand was in the middle of everyone having a great conversation. The guy never fails to take time and talk and have a good time with everyone.
  13. I can't get enough of Feherty. I've already had too much of SoCal. He reminds me of other trolls on websites who join only to verbally spar with everyone, but they would never do it in person.
