I believe the Morning Drive is done filming new episodes for 2013 too...The past week or so have been these "Best of" episodes where they are just rehashing old interviews. They are all probably on vacation for the most part.

That's awesome congrats!!!! I've seen that commercial a number of times on the Golf Channel about playing with Graeme. I figured no one ever wins those things. Have fun and see if you can pick his brain a little bit here and there during your round.

My buddies and I are planning a golf vacation in December...how is Myrtle Beach in the winter? Has anyone been there during those months? We are also looking in the Delray Beach area in FL too.

This seems to be a problem for me. I read all the grip pressure "feels" (light, firm, etc.), but the club always seems to move in my hand a bit at impact. Like many have mentioned, a grip pressure scale is very objective. I started to grip firmer but was experiencing the same problems. I think I have been firming up my wrists and forearms but leaving my grip loose (even though I thought it was harder). I have to make a better effort of recognizing my grip pressure points while relaxing my wrists and forearms.

Yesterday my buddy and I went out around 4:30pm to get in a quick 18. Unfortunately, there was a high school team out practicing on the front 9 so pace of play was a little slow. We managed to jump ahead of a group or 2, but we weren't stressing it too much because we knew it would open up on the back 9. Anyway, we standing on the 9th tee box, my buddy just teed off and I was setting up when a group of 3 (two older ladies and another guy) drove past us (the cart path goes right in front of the tee box). I had originally seen this group waiting on 2 when we were on 6. I watched them go all the way to the 10th were a group of 2 was just teeing off. Long story short, they just got off the 10th tee box as we were driving up. All three of them proceed to dribble 50 yards shots on every hole log jamming the back 9 and not letting us play through. It looked like they ended up quitting after 15 but the damage was done as it was almost completely dark when we played the 18th. We even told a passing ranger on 12, but he just went on his way back to hose down the carts at the clubhouse. If you are going to skip ahead of groups, make sure you keep the pace. If you can't handle waiting around to hit make sure you aren't making others wait when you do skip.

That's the one!!! Thanks for sharing...that is similar to the look I give when I hear a "FORE" while playing on a crowded course.

It usually never really bothered me because these guys are professionals. But yesterday, on one occasion in particular, it swayed my opinion the other way. It was when Furyk was teeing off and someone yelled as soon (if not before) he made impact. Furyk flinched and turned around to figure out WTF happen. The flinch looked like the natural reaction you make when you have no idea what is going on and you momentarily fear for your safety. Cheer and yelling for your favorite golfers is one thing. But if you are making these professional golfers flinch like that you are stepping over the line.

A slam dunk!!! That one was probably pretty cool to see. Which out of those was your favorite? As for me, if I ever hit one (fingers crossed), I would probably take it out of play. I would then display it and tell anyone that would care to listen to me tell the story over and over again about how I once hit a hole in one

I witnessed my first hole in one last night!! My buddy and I got to the course late in the day hoping to muscle out 18 before it got dark. We started on the back 9 and when we got to the green on 10 we noticed another twosome hanging around on the tee box at 11. Lo and behold, it was a former co-worker of ours and a friend of his. They asked us if we wanted to play along with them. We said sure but were a weary because they were walking and his friend was about 5'10" and 300+lbs. We played two holes with them but wanted to keep a good pace and since they were on their back 9 and we were playing our front 9 the group all agreed we should play through on the Par 3. I had a nice up and down sandy par and my buddy had a 3 putt bogey. As we are standing on the next tee box, which is behind the par 3 green, we happen to look back as big boy was teeing off. After contact, my buddy says to me, "get in the hole!" (which didn't really trigger anything since he says that every single time a ball looks like it's going to nail the green on a par 3 haha). I didn't see it in the air, but I saw it stick the green about a foot past the hole and roll back right into the cup!!! My buddy and I started screaming and jumping up and down. I ran all the way back to the tee box to give this guy a huge high five! They said they didn't see it go in but knew it had to after hearing our reaction (which probably could have been heard 5 miles away). It was truly an awesome, awesome experience. I have never been so happy for someone while playing golf ever. And it was another case of "Never judging a book by it's cover". Seeing one live in person makes me more of a believer that it is doable. Now if I can only hit one of my own.

This is how my buddies and I play as well, everything that is for par or better must be putt no matter what. We usually will putt everything else anyway, but if it looks like a gimmie (inside a foot or 2) and is in someone else's way or if it someone's "blow up" hole it will be swept away for the good of the round (pace and morale).
