When I lose my tempo I go right to my weighted heavy club and it slows me down cause I cant swing it fast. It shows me my tempo.

Wedge is always PW otherwise they will say, SW, Gap, Etc.

Classic, I was playing an SCGA tourney to qualify and one of the dudes in my 4some missed a 3 putt and threw his putter up in a tree and it stayed up there. It was so high he couldn't get it. Had to put without it for 9 holes that jackass.

My Pro gave me his 695 cb's cause Titleist sent him the AP2's. He loved his 695's but said the AP2's hit it almost identical they just look different. He has notice no difference.

I hit so many range balls and hit it hard not showing off just saying I have a high swing speed that I break many club faces, that's how I know about club returns. I have sent a bunch back and been left with no driver which I hate. Therefore, I now have a back-up driver at all times, I have two drivers of the same type ready to go so when I break the face I send one back and here comes the back-up. Tiger said his drivers have a thicker face than usual because he is afraid of crashing the face in on a round and having no driver.

Yep I heard Davis say he could hit his 7 iron 200 yards as a kid but he didnt become a great golfer until he learned how to hit his 7 iron 150. Trying to hit every club as hard as you can kills most swings and gets you outa sequence. Amazing things happen when you slow it down. Tempo is king.

Callaway Gardening tools I mean irons are good for the beginer but once you have half a clue get rid of them.

Over the top period, if you are battling it play with ball position and move the ball back in your stance till you pull it less.

Thats what I tell everyone about Torrey, I played it the Monday after the Buik, South. The rough was the hardest part. If you roll it in the rough you will be very lucky to find it and if you do you better take your medicine at wedge out cause nothing longer will get it out. I believe.... so much of slow play is due to people on the greens not ready to putt and not putting their clubs/bags in correct position to leave the green. I believe....balls starting left or right of target are swing path orieneted and the curvature of the ball is club face oriented so you know instantly if you came over the top or inside based on where the ball flight started. I believe... High handicapers try to hit the ball with their arms and hands too much.

I would never have graphite in my irons, but that said I just switched from Callaway Big Berthas to Titleist 695 CB's and the distance control is so much better. The big lawn instruments tended to jump sometimes while the 695's are money on distance. Anywho get what you hit best but I think Blades are more look then anything.

Yep, just start out doing it slower so you dont outrace one or the other then you can speed it up when you get the feel. Stack and tilt works great for irons, but it is flawed in the driver swing as you are finding out because you don't compress the ball on the drive.

Hands and arms don't hit it as far as hips and shoulders, when I want to bomb, I make sure I try to turn my hips and shoulders on the downswing almost at the same time and kinda let the arms go for the ride. Just make sure you complete your shoulder turn going back, I see so many fakes shoulder turns and it becomes and all arms swing which is very weak. You just cant think turn one thing, ie just think hips and you will blow it way right and just think turn shoulders and you most likely will come over the top. When it all gets in sych it goes a long way, but you probably know that already.
