  1. Have you SEEN the 80* Wedge from ZOLAX, would need to come with goggles and a gum shield. Anyway you dont even need a 60* wedge. I had a pro tell me that if you find yourself hitting a lot of flop shots, you need to work on your course management, not your flop shots...
  2. Right one question, how is something with that large face, AERODYNAMIC!! Its like a Transit van on the end of a stick. but it does actually pick up speed by itself.
  3. How about sixes - good game, and can end up with two of you scheming against the other. 6 points for each hole. 1 winner 1 clear runner up - 4 - 2 points respectively 2 Tied for Win - 3 - 3- Points 3. 1 Winner 2 Runners up - 4 - 1 - 1 - Points 4. All tied - 2 Points each. Is always fun. Another good one is Animals - but i think its been mentioned before, i play it a bit different but basically the same game (with the dolphins or otters for goin int water) Or just simple Skins
  4. I have a rossa monza corza atm, but have just lost all confidence and faith in it, even though i know its agood putter.
  5. I am going to splash out for a new putter, a bit but not Scotty or Redwood money. I think i have narrowed it down to 4 or 5 putters They are: Yes Tracy £99.99 Nike Unitized Tiempo £99.99 Gel Ruby £99.99 Betinardi original one £129.99 Ping Karsten Anser £59.99 What would you go for?
  6. Thanks should of looked before
  7. It was Sene Valley, i played alright but shot 83, got two shot penalty for playing wrong ball, which screwed my round and i sort of gave up a little bit.
  8. Has anyone got or hit one of these. Thinking of getting the Ruby or Jade model. Someone at my club, who is at currently at georgia university, (tom sherreard) has just got one and it feels awesome. Anyone got anything to say about them? http://www.gelgolf.co.uk/erol.html#622X0 P.S yes i would change the grip as soon as i got one, LOOK AT IT! lol
  9. We had a week off this week. I played quite a bit of golf, and had a Junior Open on thursday. Played well but was unlucky, didnt score well. However before this i had been chopping it around. So much so i had gone back up to 9 from 8.3. Anyway, we had a better-ball match against Faversham Golf Club, i talked to my pro and he told me to turn every hole into a par 3. (because iron play is my strongest point.) so I only hit Driver 3 Times. Anyway after 7 holes i was 2 under par and my partner off 10 was level. We were 4 Under beterball and 6 UP!! Anyway i am recomending that you really think a bout whether you need to hit driver, as it really puts you in S*** sometimes. I hit the ball quite far so only needed to hit driver on our 430/420 and one of the par 5's. It can help you gain some confidence, while you work on your driving.
  10. i also want a Burner, or a new PT906F4(titleist) after the shaft in mine snapped. both great clubs though. Oh also considering Mizuno F-60, looks like the dogs.
  11. Well Purestrike have made some zero degree'd putters, and they seem to be delighting everyone who uses them. (apparently from my golf magazine). Not sure what it is ment to do just know about purestrike. http://www.golfputting.com/golfputting/purestrike.asp
  12. MP-67's for me. Trying to save up for some!
  13. You should probably tee off from behind the markers though, lol
  14. also i think the person with three holes in one , WAS JOKING!
  15. Yeah but you cant tell how it should lie. if your rolling over the back either strike it better or pitch it shorter. SIMPLE AS
  16. i would go for mizuno Driver - MP-600 is a great driver F'ways - F60's look too nice not to be good Irons - Great Irons (MP-32/60/67) Wedges - Not the best but MP-R seems OK Putter - Bettinardi will DO Also may be struggling for a ball - even though they are releasing a ball in japan!
  17. Pitch it in front of the green then, Pro v's arent some sort of magic balls, you can still get enough spin with medium range balls. if your ball is pitching close and rolling back either strike it better or pitch it shorter, dont try and claim some stupid, that would of spun rule.
  18. 1. Old Course 2. Augusta 3. TPC Sawgrass 4. Carnoustie 5. Pebble Beach
  19. ok then, but when you pitch the ball short do you also move it back of the green, and i bet the ball always spins towards the hole, sounds like cheating to me, pros cant jkudge spin so you have no idea how your ball would have spun!
  20. i don't play a 60 or a 64, the greens i play (and most of you probably) arent fast enough, you can easily open up and cut across it with a 56 and send it up your nose, i find the best wedges for me are 48/54/58
  21. I like my 3 iron, and hopefully are going to hit my new 2 iron as good. I love it for the "tiger-esc" stinger of the tee. i also don't like people saying "yeah but i get more distance with my 3 hybrid" WHO CARES, you dont use irons for distance, accuracy and distance CONTROL, is why i carry irons. otherwise we would all be using Cleveland HIbore hybrid irons, MEGA LONG!! lol
  22. I played last sunday and had a huge slice (Only with Driver), i played today and got it to a respectable fade but have another round tomorrow and need it to be more accurate. I know what i am doing wrong, i need to delay my hips as they are going before my arms and causing the face to be left open. Does anyone know any drills i can do on the range beforehand to make sure my arms start the downswing? any help greatly appreciated
  23. If you were 31-33 with your old one, why did you buy a new one?
