  2. Like the title says. Let me know why you play when you do. :-D
  3. You could always quote the happy Gilmore movie. "You're gonna need a towel, cause you're never getting off that beach. You know, say something classy like that. *sarcastic eye rolling*
  4. Keep up the good spirits man, golf is a pretty good stress reliever.
  5. I like the getting a kids involved idea. Mine is only eight months old so I will have to wait a bit lol.
  6. I just played this morning and was thinking I was going alone and was paired with two guys that actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I'm twenty five and these guys were pushing retirement but they knew their game and physics well and gave me a few pointers that I couldn't see alone. Also, it is crazy awesome to have people be able to spot your ball in the air and help track those rare misses and slices ;-)
  7. Sketchy!! Lol.
  8. Ha! Most of the couples are dudes! Love it. That's like two guys joining a gym to get a couples rate. :-P
  9. I'm pumped go mark bulger. Represent St. Louis.
  10. My father in law does a few of these but I don't really care cause I am going home to his daughter. :-P
  11. I know kirksville, cool place if I am ever up there ill look you up.
  12. Where is this located? Missouri golfer here too! :-D
  13. I don't think a golf course would have to spare funds to have free babysitting so I have to agree with shorty that cost would be higher as well as get rid of some bad attitudes at the course. When I initially thought of this thread idea, my main thought process was I work four days a week at 11 hours ( nights by the way :~( ) 5:00 pm to 4:00 am. Friday morning. When my wife works Fridays which are here and there, I could bring my boy with me if no other available sitter is available. I definitely would not choose this as a first choice but seeing how Friday is mostly the only days I can go ( I work as an EMT on the weekends) it would be cool to have the option.
  14. Well I was implying that they would have a CPR certified and some other history of babysitting history opposed to the daughter of the superintendent of the course or something. But yeah I would want to make sure that my cell phone was on at all times too just to be safe. :-)
  15. I agree big time. I totally forgot how wide my angle is on that thing. Good point.
  16. I have the go pro hero 3 silver edition I think 120 FPS or so at wvga which is 800x480. So not that great as far as frame size goes check out some videos on you tube lots of people have done them with go pros. I am going to try one using mine in member swings probably next week. Other then that my canon rebel eos T3i only goes to 60fps but I can make that camera my bi@tch with custom apertures and shutter speeds but your looking at almost $1000 as well.
  17. I was at my driving range last week and some one dropped some Bridgestone E6 on the ground three of them right in a box. It must be a sign.
  18. Has anyone ever gone to a course with in house babysitting? I had a thought the other day at my home course. I am standing there thinking, "the YMCA has babysitters when you work out, why not golf courses too?" That would just be awesome. :-D
  19. My wife and I took our dads golfing on Father's Day which both of them loved. First time golfing and she rocketed the ball off the tee with no former training or playing. Sometimes, I am just flabbergasted how good she is at things without trying. I try to work hard and she is like just swinging away (straight down the fairway I might add :~( ) but she what is worse is that she is like I don't really like playing golf. What?! You shoot well, putt great and you don't like it? Whatever, anyway, back to comment she said she liked having people behind us all day because she is very impatient so it helped everyone move along.
  20. I really like playing with other people. No one is there to see your shot to help find balls whether it be in the air or rough, it's nice to have a friend. :-D
  21. I am a machinist that helps make airplane parts for the commercial, military and private sectors. I also am a licensed EMT - B in the state of MO. I am also a volunteer firefighter in my town as well. I love golf when I have time to play! :-P
