  2. Well, how did you hit with it after the damage was done? If it were me, I would play it as-is unless the dent causes a vibration in the shaft that doesn't feel normal or if the club lost its pop/felt dead.
  3. Half-speed swing. Just once. Difficult lies or 100 yards-in I'll take a few swings and concentrate on visualizing ball trajectory until I feel comfortable addressing the ball. I don't take a long setup or hold my follow through for very long though.
  4. I'm gonna go polar-opposite here... All white. Full white-out. Everything.
  5. Bridgestone E-Series right now. I prefer the E6. When these run out I plan on trying some of the Wilson Staff line.
  6. Last spring I replaced my bag of the last decade. Having perused the bag section at the store before, I intended to buy the 4 Series. One more look-around and only Sun Mountain caught my eye, but I agree I just didn't feel like I could trust going another 10 years with the same bag after feeling the materials and zippers... Stuck with my original choice of the 4 Series and as a walker 90% of the time I really dig the insulated bottle pocket. The only negative with the bag as far as I am concerned, and others have mentioned, is that my clubs tend to get tangled way to easily down at the grips. I might have to buy some of those plastic tube dividers and cut the appropriate length off the bottom so they sit under the lip of the bag and don't visually irritate me as much. They sure are expensive for what you get though. Anyone have alternative solutions? And to answer the OP, I believe you get 1 or 2 more side pockets, 1 more front lower pocket, and no insulated bottle pocket with if you were to go with the Hoofer, compared to the 4 Series. The 4 Series has a slightly smaller over-all profile and I don't carry much in my bag, so if you don't need it, why pay more?
  7. Personally, I would not want to have to attach anything to the butt of all of my clubs.
  8. Are flat-billed visors o.k.?
  9. Try doing a search on etsy.com for golf club covers. That website is full of independent artists and a lot will create custom works. Here is one seller with examples of her work displayed on her page: http://www.etsy.com/listing/97061772/custom-hand-knit-golf-club-covers-ive Good luck.
  10. I haven't done either. Shoot even par. Hole-in-one would just be icing on the cake.

  12. Unless you're going to be laying the bag down while you take each shot, I wouldn't worry about it at all. My stand-up bag is mostly bright white and has stayed very clean.. But remember, it doesn't get dirty, it just gets broken in
  13. Just tees and some balls. My last purchase, beside the expendables, was a complete ladies set for my mother back in May for Mother's Day. Now we have a new golfer in the family.
  14. If you can get over the spider logo I would take a look at Black Widow grips. I have a Black Widow Widow Maker black midsize grip on my driver. Half-corded and is basically completely black in color. I suppose you could install the grip upside-down if you want an even stealthier appearance. Price for the Widow Makers (per one of the larger retailers, not sure if we can link or name-drop on here) are $8.19 ea Still expensive but they are cheaper than the Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound Cord midsize black grip that I believe you are talking about in your original post. The GP's are half-corded as well but $9.99 ea in price. I have first hand experience with the Widow Makers that's why I would recommend them. I'm sure there are other options for you to explore too, though.
  15. Layout appears to have a proportionate mix of inviting fairways, hazards, and greens with enjoyable amounts of elevation change. Looks like a well balanced course for all playing levels, always nice to gander at well maintained greenery. Is this club open to public?
  16. The only course worth mentioning for me would be Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, FL. I played the Black course. The absence of any deep rough can actually be a curse.. if you hit an errant shot your ball can roll very far off-line. Absolutely stunning course conditions and amazing facilities, I enjoyed my time there.
  17. I started playing golf my Jr year of high school, walked to the 9-hole municipal course next to my school every day when classes let out during the fall season. Bottom line is that I am used to playing 9 holes at a time. Over the years, becoming more passionate about the game, I feel strongly as others do and want more. So now I strongly prefer to play 18 but still love to play 9 before or after work. Time management is the largest deciding factor currently. Still walk everything too
