That's just stupid. I have some anger issues and if I make some bad shots I can swear a bit but I understand that a cool head will always help the game and the anger will only make the game worse, so is life. Maybe this guy not only needs some golf lesons but some life lessons. Had a friend make some bad shots one round and hit his nice push cart and wrecked the wheel! That was funny. But at the time he had his dog with us and she was tied to his cart and I could tell she was pretty scared of his little tantrum, I felt bad for her.

I was surfing ebay and saw this tool that sharpened the grooves on your irons and wedges. http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Golf-Tool-Net...QQcmdZViewItem .And I am curious if anyone has used them and feel it is a good idea to have this tool and use it after so many rounds?

I think if you like to work the ball left or right then wait for the replacment, if you want to hit it straight get the square head

5th course

Im get there about an hour before tee off. Get a large bucket, then hit short irons first working my way up to the driver. Then go to the putting green and practice short putts then long putts then back to short putts. Then relax for a few minutes and tee off! If I have the time after I will hit some balls on the range after but I usually don't

Is the A considered a wedge in this? cause if it is then I carry 4. AW, PW, 56*, 60*. I am thinking about loosing the 60 degree though, but not sure yet.

Just bought my Nike Sumo SQ #3 20* very nice and fills the gap from my 4 iron to my 3 wood nicely. seem to hit it very nice! about 200yards on a good day

I dont get what the discusion is about? What to call a putt, Geesh if the ball is on the green then it is a putt, if it is off the green it isn't, what's to discuss? If it is off the putting surface even by an inch then what ever you use to hit the ball towards the hole a putter or a driver it isnt a putt it's a chip. period.

I dont know much about the shot, but that club twirl at the end of the shot! Beautiful!

Whatever you like i guess, i supposidly have a swing speed of 74mph and use a Sumo2 9.5* with a stiff shaft. I hit it 250- 275. I like it and my swing speed isnt very fast if it is correct

well one thing i need to work on is keeping my shoulders square to the ball at contact which keeps the swing on the right line. When i am pushing the ball or slicing i am turning my shoulders towards the target before contact which creates an outside in swing path, I think anyways. I also use your thining about the right elbow, keeping it into the body on the downswing.

ALot of good comments, But the one that says that they dont mind letting friends use their clubs and if they break it it is a good excuse to upgrade? WOW must be nice to have the disposable cash to just go buy new stuff all "willy nilly" like that. I think it is hard to trust people that arent good friends I guess. I dont have any real good friends that I golf with and mostly golf with whoever they put me with. But I think what got me is the comment is that she didnt even ask me if it was alright if maybe her son tried out my driver some time, but just turned to him after i told them I just got one, and said oh now you can try it! LIke geesh I havent even played a round with it yet! Anyways Very tuff decision I think cause it could turn into a dispute if something happens and they dont think it was their fault. Maybe after a few rounds and i "break it in" maybe I wont be so anal about it but like a new vehicle or anything I think I can be pretty protective of it for the first while then after that, it should be all good.

oh ya, the one thing that may help you in you swing is the same thing im working on, I am finding that proper timing on breaking the wrists through the downswing can create alot more speed. I am working on that part. I think i was not snapping the wrists through the ball but just slowly releasing them through the whole swing which didnt help at all. I am trying to turn the shoulders and swinging the arms down and once the shaft is parallel to the ground then snap the wrists threw and that seems to give me more speed.

Ok just got new irons a couple weeks ago, and just this week got the new Nike driver, and not more than 8 hours later a friend of mine walking with her 14 year old son says to me" oh now my son can try you driver to see if he likes it!" Like geesh why do I want to take the chance of someone making a ding or even worse on my new 500 dollar investment? Why cant people just go demo a driver if they want to try one. I hate being an ass about it or looking selfish but that's alot of money to risk in my opinion

If you like the wedges, then take out the 3 iron since you have the 19* hybrid. same thing...

Im curious, your swing speed is 90mph and you only hit it 250yards? Im not knocking you, im just curious cause I was at golftown and buying some new clubs and got my club speed at 74mph but was hitting it 265 with my driver? Shouldnt you be hitting it farther than that with that club head speed? Since I saw that my clubhead speed was so low I have been working on it to get more speed and after a couple days of reading up on it and watching some big hitters I think have gained some speed. Now when going to the range I can hit the fence in the air at the end of the range instead of coming up aboout 25 yards short. So I must be around 275 now. I asked if there machine was acurate and they said yes but now im not sure?

Awsome...A different club or even a shaft can do wonders if it is the wrong one or just not suited to your swing. I was using a driver for the past year that I had to try to hit straight way to hard. Got sick of it and got the new sumo2, the next day hit the range and got out on the course for 6 holes and was 1 under and that point! The driver was putting it out there!!!! and the new irons was sticking it close.

What PGA players dont have bad rounds? Practice Practice Practice and chase the dream!!!
