  1. Hey, I just thought you'd get a kick out of this thread: An old thread, but got bumped a couple weeks ago, and folks have been answering. Looking at the results, you did VERY well for a first round.
  2. My condolences on your getting hooked . Join the club. Definitely keep updating here from time to time with what you're working on. Take good camera angles, and you'll get some good feedback on what to work on next over time. Learning happens bit by bit, one epiphany after another, and it's addicting to see where it takes your scores in the long run.
  3. Ties all over the place! Welcome to the new site "rookies" - great to see new faces mixing it up and earning reputation.
  4. Pretty cheesy quality in this, but I'm just starting to learn how to do video for my submission for Newport Cup 2019. Thought y'all might get a kick out of seeing the animation of the scoring. Hard to read the actual scores and names (and I goofed up and forgot the 3rd hole score on the final day), but the main thing I wanted to see was how the match ebbed and flowed in the progress bar at the top. As it turns out, the number of points at stake between 15 and 18 visually make the rest of the tournament look like just warm up! What is that they say about the Masters starting on the back nine at Augusta?

@jsgolfer had a flop shot he executed well from about 20yd on a direct line from the camera behind @DeadMan. There is a pic somewhere. It landed softly in a similar spot to where your bunker shot did, in fact. Like you said you expected, it rolled out a ways down that slope. Again the camera doesn’t quite show the undulation as dramatically as real life.

Thanks, Tyler. Yah, I remember thinking the pic on my phone looked nothing like the reality of this predicament!

@phillyk on the tee during Match 3, Thursday PM Fourball at Talamore. I remember the dogleg left and the hole visually, but cannot recall the hole number without researching it. I'm sure you players remember this hole- somewhere in the middle of the course.

Ok, name that swing with one frame. I'm thinking @mchepp. I know this is Thursday PM Fourball at Talamore, and I'm reasonably sure this is on the par 3 Hole #13, because it was taken just a couple minutes before @DaveP043's tee shot on #13 (adjacent pic here).

Match 3 on Hole #13 during Thursday PM Fourball at Talamore. I am pretty sure that is @NCGolfer putting as @DeadMan and @phillyk look on. Pars for everyone on this hole.

Opening hole short game play for BLUE in Match 3, Friday AM Foursomes at Talamore. ( @NCGolfer , @coachjimsc) May not look too bad, but this was a substantial downhill lie chipping back up the hill to a green that runs away. I believe RED team ( @phillyk / @Pretzel ) was already in somewhat close with their third too. (could be wrong)

@kpaulhus chips on Hole #3, Match 2, Friday AM Foursomes at Talamore. @jsgolfer and @DaveP043 look on.

Thanks! I can usually resolve who it is with just a silhouette of a swing, but this one I could go either way between you two. Well, there are probably a few more coming up in the gallery where I can't place the hole or the golfer- we shall see.

@Pretzel hits tee shot on Hole #8, Match 3, Friday AM Foursomes at Talamore. We old guys strained our backs just watching Tyler get that athletic extension you see there! @phillyk, @NCGolfer, @coachjimsc look on.
