  2. Dependant on where i want to play it can range from £5 - £50 But the vast majority of courses are around £15. But i love 2-FORE-1, me and my mate play half price!
  3. Literally just got back from the range! as i was finishing up this fella is waiting for my bay, and said here lad have a shot of this, and hands me a taylormade 3wood he JUST bought, safe to say i was terrified of fluffing it Just as well i got a nice connection, got about 175/200 straight (off tee) and walked off dead suave, like the geordie james bond!
  4. Been waiting to post in this thread for weeks now! As of today after 5 months of testing, im now an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer! Can't wait, Rob.
  5. I see where the other users and Admins are coming from! it looks like multiple accounts have been made to promo this VHS/DVD/CD malarky! (and they other users dont seem childish and petty to me, it reads as if you're annoyed they queried if your trying to promote/give your views the product) - Another one of these horrible TST users, Rob.
  6. I think that "putter" might give more luck as an iron! Good ol slap shot off the tee!
  7. I find myself doing more of a scooping shot, taking the top of tee and and ball, normally club up and use a half or 3/4 on par 3s, but of course thats just me!
  8. And he then uses the cigar stumps as tee's, of course!
  9. He might well be, but i doubt it, but its terrible promo for brands (On course, etc) Note (This is my opinion) Rob.
  10. This guy! Come on, seriously his attitude generally annoys me, Jimenez, i think youre stuck in the past! (no offense to any smokers) i think it should be completely ban at sporting events, give the wrong impression to young kids IMO! Rob.
  11. Just the spiked golf shoes (shortest to type each time!) :) but i need a mulligan on spelling i didnt check it, of course i meant cleat!
  12. My lost and foundnd story differs slightly, So i keep my shoes/cleets in my boot of my car, but i got a lift off my mate to the club so i just wore my cleets to go, so we proceeded to play the 18holes towards the end of the back 9, it started pouring down! (not suprising for NE england) so we finished up quickly and headed to the car, so with me not driving i kept my cleets on, my friend proceeded to drop me off at my house, so i was in the garage putting clubs away, taking cleets off, when i realised i couldnt find my car keys, Had to get a lift back to the club, walked 18holes again in pouring rain, to no avail! get home check my golf bag again, still no keys. So i proceeded to kick my cleet in anger, and a set of keys come flying out the inside of my shoes! I was beyond annoyed that day! And to this day i still dont know how my keys were in my cleet!
  13. So, here it goes my first post! Just a quickie, so i started playing golf casually about 2 years ago, but now im starting to get seriously in to it! Now after playing a couple of rounds on the local 18 hole, i decided to take the plunge and book a half hour lesson with my local pro. MY GOD! how wrong i have been swinging, thank god i decided to visit the pro when i did, i used to have a HUUUUGE problem with Slice. But after half an hour with this chap i've started to consistently hit my drive straight! Im not hitting huge distance (175) but Hey if its on the fairway im not 3 off the tee, and im happy with that! So, in my opinion anyone out there thinking about getting lessons, i highly recommend them! Already booked up to try and improve my drive further! Rob.
