  1. Ahh good old will ferral, i was laughing so hard when i saw that on sportscentre the morning after. Btw Step Brothers was the funniest movie i have ever seen great movie.
  2. Confidence by the words u've typed here. Hard thing to overcome, but ya your irons couldn't be too bad with a 5 handicap.
  3. http://www.golftown.com/gtcommerce/s...TICK%20PUTTERS Perhaps a definition of a joke? I give it 10/10 in the sales gimic category.. i wonder if they expect to sell many, maybe adam sandler will come buy them all? Anyone else seen these before or maybe have or have tried them out?

    Which Wedge??

Ok well im looking for a 54* and im thinking 8* bounce, the course me and dent play at has fast fast greens and fairways its pretty nutty out there sometimes.
  5. Yea that sounds much better, thx alot lately i've been having great success with my driver. Hit 333 yards with no wind yesterday, bombed it over water from the tips. Dent can back me up on that it was something ill never forget.
  6. Ya i was gofling with Dent yesterday and the ball landed on are tee box 5 feet infront of us (could tell from the divot) And the ball shot through my feet. As scary as that is im usually cool cuz they were really good about it and yelled four as loud as they could but a hill sits between us so you can't even see them so the guys voice couldn't carry to us. Greatest round of golf tho shot my best score at the course, lowered my handicap by .8 and it was from the tips

    Which Wedge??

I'm looking to buy a 54* wedge as it will fill the gap im missing for specific distance and the one wedge i have right now is prehistoric and there is no grooves to be found it like a flat face lol. Which one do you think would be best from your own thoughts and experience and if you can post reasons why that would be great
  8. I agree with this, all you have to do is get the feel for the greens at the course, and figure out how much more or less power your gunna have to put for distances compared to another course u may commonly play at.
  9. I am the exact same way after i see my ball stop from my shot im already visioning where my angle to the green is and what club will serve me best from the judged distance i am at. Great way to save time on the course, and have a better clue of what you can be expecting when you arrive at your ball again.
  10. Yes what i said was don't feel like you have to rush your game, however yes theres always playing courteous golf when it is obvious your to slow, and if your one of those famous take forever pre shot guys such as your buddy, you need to reconsider your pre shot routine as thats a ridiculous amount of time spent for a golf shot, plus the fact of talking when u should swing at your ball first
  11. Then there really is no problem, but you just have a bad mind frame/paranoia of it. I used to get that feeling but brushed it off by just realizing that it's your game and you have all rights not to rush yourself in your game. My answer for you, is to do the same and take it off your mind.
  12. 1 in a row lol, ya birdies aren't a common ocassion for me, maybe once every two rounds or so, but my best par run was 4.
  13. ok thx alot
  14. Bump sry for this just hoping someone could get me a quick answer or thoughts towards the technique
  15. Extreme ups and downs aren't uncommon in the world of golf, as many of us have found out lol. It's something that is called "Quick Sand" Sure one day on the course after playing many normal rounds perhaps slowly gettting better etc. Then u come upon a day where u might even shoot one of your best scores and feel like u just hit jackpot. Then you come into your following round after that outstanding game u last played and you start bad right off the tee box. This is where quick sand comes in and takes control of you. Quick Sand (the harder u try to get out, the farther u sink) In golf terms this means u hit one bad shot and on the next one your thinking so hard not to have another bad shot that u keep getting worse. Hence your sinking.
  16. Ok so lately i've been putting much attention to my driver and at the range few days back i solved it and hit at least a good 6 dead straight, being very satisfied with myself and slowly feeling more and more comfortable with my swing i have a question or two just to make sure what i'm doing is on the right track. Is it good to basically try and copy your foreswing pattern with your backswing pattern?
  17. I was supposed to go see it last night... but sold out
  18. This sounds like something worth trying out. Ima give it a shot at the range, then maybe even try it in a round
  19. It is said to be the burner
  20. well i have slowly learned that if you hit the ball with teh club... the ball moves On the serious side, on your drive keep your lower body quite and don't over bend your elbows
  21. I unno bout these they sound sketchy to be honest... how good can they look really? It's gotta take some class away from golf none the less i think. I love jeans, outside of golf though. How comfortable can they be to i can't stand to not wear my golf pants, or shorts when it comes to playing otherwise i don't feel comfortable.
  22. Hippo clubs i hate & top flite drivers.. as well as ping putters there awful
  23. lol i am that exact same deal! I hit a bomb of a driver 358, (cart path bounce) and 20 km winds carrying it + fast fairways :D and i just couldn't get over it... i wrote it down on the scorecard above the hole.
  24. Nice grats on the quick pick up... i don't have the 5 wood myself but my friend does and he hits a great ball with it. The sound and ball flight is gorgeous.
  25. I feel very comfortable being on the greens probably my strongest point in my game, taking long putts is no problem at all, as i feel like i can at least get it within 3 feet. 4 Footers have become more and more of a easy putt.
