  1. I get what you are saying, but now they have to because a judge ruled requiring the vaccine violates their constitutional religious rights.
  2. I will say this. I live in Monroe, Michigan, and in my county my kids are going to the only school that is requiring masks. That doesn't bother me at all. I do know; however; there is a lot of pushback when they announced that. Sign's all over, Unmask the kids. People complaining. It is really dividing people on it. Also, a judge ruled blocked Western Michigan University from enforcing a vaccine requirement on 4 female soccer players, ruling that they are likely to prevail on claims it violates their constitutional religious rights. This could start others starting to state the same thing in other colleges/work/etc.
  3. Update on the Par 3. They have new owners now. The mini golf pond area has been drained, and cleaned and the pump is now working. The batting cages are working. The net to protect golfers on hole 9 has been re done. Irrigation has been fixed and they are watering. They plan on ripping out all greens and re doing them. I'm more likely to spend money there now, that I know they are putting money into it.
  4. That's either 9 (if it goes to the clubhouse) or number 7. I use a website called GolfFrontier.com, then I choose courses, then type in the course name, select it, and choose Layout. You will see a layout of the course.
  5. I'm not sure if you were looking at the right hole. Here is a picture: The hole is to the right, and goes straight then curves the opposite way of the cart path. The cart path just ends, and the fairway is opposite of it. I'm also pretty sure the golf course was made the same time as the homes were.
  6. Have a quick question concerning history of this course. On hole 6, the cart path curves to the right straight into heather. But, the hole goes straight and bends to the left. I am wondering if originally it was going to be routed differently.
  7. For me it’s either dubbing a chip shot 3 feet into a bunker, hitting a shot out of a bunker, it hits a rake and comes back in; putting off the green into the water; or hitting an object and the ball comes back and it hits you. And, yes, I’ve did all of them
  8. That is true.
  9. I guess I don’t understand dropping a friend over a disagreement. That’s not something I don’t think I would do.
  10. I do not have a monitor by my bed. Hopefully the check up goes good.
  11. I played Carrington Golf Club in Monroe, MI. I shot a 82. Best round of the year, includes 1 birdie. I'm so happy about the round; yes there are shots I missed, but on the whole, it was good, especially for me.
  12. Sorry to hear that. I honestly don't remember any pain, I know I had to have my arm in a sling though. I had mine implanted in 2013, and no issues so far. About 9 years left on the battery.
  13. Per Yahoo Sports; Tiger Woods's 2002 Scotty Cameron backup putter sells for $393,300. For that much, it better auto putt everything in and do more than just putt......
  14. Don't know if there are any members in the path of Hurricane Ida, but I wish you the best. Let us know how you are doing.
  15. I just stumbled on this thread and was wondering how you are doing? I have a pacemaker also, implanted in 2013. For me, I started slow; chipping and putting and worked my way up
  16. About the headaches. Yes I do know. MHNI (my doctor) said so. They also said they have quite a few patients that happened too. ok. I get it. Post elsewhere. I have before. This is just today. But I bet others who have posted just here today and happen to agree with the other side don’t get warned…
  17. Yes they know the companies developed them. But, the government is pushing it also. I really don’t think driving sober and getting the vaccine is the same. Drive drunk and there is a greater than 98% chance you will hurt/kill yourself or others. I don’t agree with all these “consequences “. I just don’t.
  18. They only wear it when it is advised. For example, during the summer when the restrictions were lifted they didn’t
  19. Yes you can. They are hesitant on it. My mom is more likely to get it, but my Dad doesn't trust the government. As time goes on they may get it, they might not. It is their opinion, and choice. No one should force someone to get it.
  20. They do not go out that often. Grocery shopping, golf, etc. They are not selfish. When they are asked to wear a mask, they do. No complaint. Just stop with the bull, if you don't get the vaccine you are selfish. So, if a dr tells you not to get it, and you don't, you are selfish? Stop pressuring people to do it. Why can't your kids do anything? My daughter is in gymnastics, and they have the classes. T-Ball was on during the summer. Summer baseball leagues was going. High school sports were on. Bowling was on.
  21. I can tell you with certain my parents are NOT selfish. Just because you don't take it doesn't mean you are selfish. Maybe you are concerned about long term effects. Maybe you were told not to take it from your doctor.
  22. Ok. What is the long term effect of the vaccine? In my case, why did the vaccine cause my head pain shot to stop working? Quotes from people who are not getting it "Imagine a vaccine so safe you have to be threatened to take it for a disease so deadly you have to be tested to know you have it". "If you have to carry a card in your pocket to gain access for merely shopping or freely moving about then that is no longer a free country....and that should concern everyone regardless of party" and "if you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized.....if all of this is considered necessary to gain your compliance - you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest" I know people who have not gotten it. My parents for one. Do I think they are stupid? No, I don't.
  23. Dude. Calm down. I'm NOT making things up. I see this on a daily basis. I was quoting what other people have said. There ARE people in the medical field that are saying no to the vaccine. I know of people that will NOT get the vaccine. There are valid questions. Just because YOU don't find them valid, doesn't mean they are not. And, just because they do not want to take the vaccine, does not mean they are stupid. People can (and will) disagree, but that does not give you the right to call them names. Yes, that is the truth. That I will agree with.
  24. I don't know; depends on how you define "a lot". There is a lot of people opposed and will not get the vaccine. Numerous people have their picture surrounded by "I stand for Medical Freedom. #stop the mandate". People are protesting it (even medical people such as nurses). I am a member of Mustard or Senning survivors (heart patient; Mustard surgery/Senning Surgery) and even some people in that group is opposed to the vaccine. Comment from at least one "Do not be complacent. Question all authority and make your own decision. The worse reason to make a choice is for the greater good. The onus of responsibility is on the individual for themselves. Not anyone else. Any other reason any person give you to get the vaccine is straight bullying. This is supposed to be a free country". Personally, I think that this vaccine should not be forced on people at this time. It should be the persons choice. It does make a person wonder, why are they trying to bribe people into taking this?
