  1. I used to use a 5 paseta coin (spanish currence before the euro) but its so small it took me ages to find it in my bag so now I use the nike one which came on the nike pitchmark tool I bought, very nice.
  2. The Srixon AD333 is an excellent ball
  3. I'd go for the 17*, you can always choke down the shaft to get the distance of a 19*. On a side note maverick I notice you play a 56, 58 and 60 wedge, just wondering why?
  4. I use the nike sv tour 60* (satin finish). Very nice weight and feel.
  5. Im looking at getting some new irons shortly and have seen a good deal on some Nike CCI cast irons. I know I should test different ones and choose the ones that feel the best (and thats what i'll do). Just looking for some feedback from those who have played these irons. I play off 8 at the moment, am I correct in thinking these irons are aimed at the mid-low handicapper? Also, has anyone used the nike unitized putters before? Many Thanks
  6. I use a vintage Ping Anser. It's so discoloured now after almost 20 years of use. May treat myself to an Odyssey white hot blade putter later this year.
  7. Im going to give the nike one ball a try but not sure which to try. Looking at the nikegolf site it seems the platinum has a better feel and the black a little more distance. Just looking for some feedback from someone who has used them both?
  8. Thanks for the replies. Can you point me towards further info for these clubs if possible? Would you say these irons are suitable for my handicap? Sorry for all the questions
  9. They have a pretty harsh feel when caught thin, not too bad when caught off the hee/toe though. The clubface is quite small.
  10. Hi, Just starting to take up golf again after a few years away. I play off 9 at the moment and my current irons are the WilsonStaff R.Mendralla signature irons (the photo is taken from wilson's website). They are described as muscle cavities. Can anyone tell me what level of golfer these clubs were designed for? Game improvement, players etc? Many Thanks
  11. Maxfli noodles are very good balls, still use them myself sometimes. Nike distance balls are also good, very durable too.
  12. 9.5* loft with a stiff shaft. Swing speed around 100-105. Still hit it too high.
  13. I bought a Cleveland Hibore 2h 19* recently. Feels so solid and easy to hit, very workable too.
