  1. Personal preference my friend. What makes any club expensive. Supply and demand. They must be working a little bit.
  2. Actually its 99.99 at Dicks, but if you have one locally, you will save a couple of bucks, because shipping is $14
  3. I cant speak for Igolf, but most of the companys offer the yearly subsciption on a personal basis. Meaning if you sign up in june, you get the subscription till the next june.
  4. Please do keep us posted. I wish you the best of luck.
  5. Edwin Watts near me in FL will bend clubs for free if I bought them there. If not, they will check them free. Bend them for a few bucks. Dicks Sporting goods charges I think $5 per club.
  6. He was speaking more about slow play in your own foursome...But I know what you are talking about, it can be frustrating as heck.
  7. I dont think myself or Chief were talking about chatting while on the course. But the fact is we live in a day and age where family and business need to get a hold of you. To say that people should leave phones in the car and if someone needs them to have them call the clubhouse and the clubhouse will find them seems a little over the top.
  8. And yet now my fiancee wants to trade in her 05 model for the new one after that commercial. I feel as though most casual viewers dont watch all 10 or so hours of the Ryder Cup. We are the extreme cases. So for most they did not see it like we did. Im not a Lexus person myself, but I think the commercial to an extent works. I cant stand the commercial personally, but people are talking about it.
  9. Really? You have never seen someone roll the ball? Amazing.
  10. Ineffective? Im not so sure...After all, we are talking about it on a golf message board arent we?
  11. Iacas beat me to it. We call it relief anytime the ball goes splash.
  12. So now I am guessing you think the movie is complete crap? Kind of ironic from your initial post.
  13. I think your clubs came from TX. This from AZ, not much difference. I assure you, this company is in business and very good to deal with. Maybe change the title of the thread to "Questions about Sub Seventy"? Just a thought
  14. I dont know about Canada dialing to the US. Keep in mind that things go a little slower when shipping in between countries. Didnt we just have a thread about you having trouble getting clubs before? Patience is a virtue. I agree you should have received a tracking number, but the same exact thing happened again. Bad luck I guess.
  15. Yes, you should get a tracking number. But some places dont send them. But give them a call and I am sure they can help.
  16. Before we jump on and make a thread about how bad a company is and that there number isnt real, lets check them out first. These guys have been great for many and answered on the 2nd ring I called. Thats how companies get bad raps without doing anything wrong. There are enough bad companies out there, lets keep some good ones around. SOmeone doing a search on here, all of the sudden reads this thread title and thinks the worse.

    Why?

Will was absolutely great in those skits.
  18. I called the number on the website Dent, and they answered after the 2nd ring. You might want to give them a call. THey seemed really nice on the phone. I just asked about shipping procedures. I have ordered from them and everything came in just fine. I dont know why you are having problems. But the number is real.
  19. I think the screen name says it all.
  20. Like I said in the post I made above yours. He is a radical that has never really done anything except make outlandish opinions.
  21. I actually think at his swing speed he is very well into the stiff category. I was under the impression that 90 mph is about the cutoff. I may be wrong, but I thought 90 was the cutoff to go stiff and 95 you should definately be at stiff. At 100 I am almost sure he is there.
  22. There can be a huge difference in what kind of shafts you put on your clubs. I suggest getting them fitted to match your swing speed.
  23. At my home course we have GPS on each cart. It times your round. If you start playing too slow, the marshalls will ask them to speed it up.

    Why?

I agree with you Gasman. I have said it once or twice, but usually only in regards to posts that have the exact same question as the one right below it.
  25. The company I worked for at the time was in those buildings and it was no joke. The two largest insurance brokers in the world were the floors that had direct impact. I know many people that lost their lives there. Dr Jones from BYU has long been thought of as a joke. He is a radical. He has strong beliefs (religious and otherwise) and when the press finally proves him wrong every few years he vanishes and then comes back with a new theory. Atleast that is what many in the press and public feel about him. Take a look at his track record. These remind me of the same people that are convinced the Holocaust didnt happen, and so on. If you think that what happend on 9/11 is about a few guys with box cutters, I suggest you read a little more about what actually happened.
