Getting down to single digits would definately be doable. Especially with plenty of practice and persistence. Getting from a 5 to a 0 in my mind and from my experience was much harder than getting to a 5. Work on your short game a lot is my only words of advice.

I spoke in the previous post as well about not wanting to get an injury.

That was my thoughts. I have seen people snap a wrist from roots. I will always take the stroke and drop than risk the injury or the damage to my clubs.

But I do believe in 1950 the rule was stated that any player may call any ball unplayable anywhere on the course and the penalty is 1 stroke.

In the grand scheme of things, I would much rather take a stroke and save the thousands that are in my bag than break my clubs and have a chance at injury. Its a game to me. Im not playing competitively.

Where I play it is not a problem, but I am sorry to say that if my better half needs to get a hold of me, I am taking her call. I never said I was txting and emailing while playing normally. Only when the course is so slow I am left sitting waiting for 10 minutes while I cant go anywhere. I am guessing that you are not married, because to say "nothing can wait for 4 hours while on the course" is crazy in a married relationship. Also crazy in the world of business. I TRY and not take calls. But there are time when it is necessary. I still always finish in under 3 and a half hours.

Not a chance would I do that. Ill take relief and move on...Its just a game, and I am not willing to ruin my clubs over it.

No two swings are alike. The whole point to a fitting is to have the clubs match your swing.

There are a million sites that sell clubs. TGW, Rockbottomgolf, golfsmith, etc, etc... As for reviews, do a quick search on this site for each one and see what people say. I would suggest hitting each one and if they feel right and feel good, then you found your clubs.

Have you tried a hybrid or rescue club? May help you with the longer irons.

I would actually say if you only have money to get one more wedge, meet in the middle and a 52 degree.

If you like the Cleveland 588, I would recommend sticking with those. The next thing you have to decide is what gaps you want. At 45 and 60, you can add one or two. I would think the logical choice is 50 and 55.
