I've always been in love with Kapalua, especially the Plantation course. I always look forward to watching the Mercedes Championship on TV...probably because after 2 months of winter it's nice to see blue skies and sunshine - but the course itself is stunning on TV too. And between Tiger Woods on Playstation and the old Links PC game, I've probably played the Plantation course hundreds of times (albeit virtually) - All that being said, in a few days I will actually be there and I am unbelievably stoked - If anyone has any "local" advice for me on playing the courses I will gladly take it - thanks and aloha!

This is a little over your price range, but... I'm getting married in a few weeks and all of my groomsmen are golfers so I got them Vokeys - and I'm going to paintfill the lofts in different colors...the colors of their college or favorite team I thought about stamping their initials in them too but that might be too much work...and I don't want to screw them up Good luck!

Anybody have one of these? I saw one at Golf Galaxy yesterday - looks pretty cool...although I'm not sure if it's worth the $50 I haven't been able to find any online retailers that carry it or else I would post a link to it

I think it is a coincidence...this case has been building for quite some time - read the complaint..this guy tried to squeeze money out of any and everybody he could and on top of all of that - he's been a horrible governor...some of his decisions have been mind-boggling - hopefully he spends the rest of his life behind bars.

I have 2 lasting memories of Payne.. The first is the Sunday of the '99 Ryder Cup - when he dropped that insanely long putt on Monty - and right after it dropped in they cut to Payne and he was stomping his feet and pumping his fist...I think it was to even up the match and Payne was super charged up - just thinking about now gives me the chills. Wish I could find a video of it online somewhere And the second was at the Western Open at Cog Hill - had to be early/mid 90's. He hit the most beautiful draw around the dogleg on the 16th hole. I can still picture it. RIP Payne

ok - somewhat along these lines I have an old Santa Fe with a teryllium insert - but the insert has a decent sized gash in it (i'd say about 2/3 inch long - almost on the sweet spot) from the prior owner Anybody know if I can get the insert replaced somewhere? Will the Scotty Custom Shop do this?

It was on towards the end of the Bridgestone yesterday so I hit record on my DVR as soon as I saw it - watched it a few more times and it never gets old.
