  1. Webb Simpson just sky'd a 3 wood off the 1st tee...went about 150 yards barely making it to the fairway from the tee area LOL. Rough start
  2. I've heard of that Ironwood course but never played it...is it fun? There is an 18 hole (all short par 3's) called Heartwell that is pretty fun if you're just starting out. It's in Long Beach/Lakewood off Carson just passed the LB Town Center. Tiger played there when he was little. I've taken my girlfriend there a few times. Fun and cheap. Check that one out for sure @BuhBAM
  3. Yeah totally man...the guys I play with are super chill, and we aren't good lol. We rotate courses every week usually...just depends on where we can get an early tee time. We're going to play Dad Miller next Saturday (10/4), I think you'd dig that course. Not very long and the back 9 has some fun holes. $38 to walk on the weekend (morning). I will message you with the details when we get the tee time. If you can make it, cool...no worries if you can't. I think we will play Mile Square or Costa Mesa the weekend after that BTW.
  4. Sup bro! I'm in HB too. There are some fun courses around. Mile Square like @Golfingdad mentioned is fun and can be challenging. Meadowlark in HB is a little shorter than average, but still fun...the problem with that place is how crowded it gets. In short, it's poorly managed and a 6 hour round is not uncommon. Dad Miller in Anaheim is fun. Costa Mesa Country Club has two super fun courses and that's where I take lessons, practice (great practice areas) and play sometimes. It's also crowded. Those are all reasonable values for a student. I try and play somewhere every Sat morning around 6:30 - 7. Usually have a room for a 4th if you're ever interested. Some good info/tips on this site. Enjoy homie! BS
  5. Cool story bro ;)
  6. Cool...I need to try that. I always see inside left heal..
  7. How far forward is the ball in your driver setup?
  8. LOL! NO WAY?? What happened? Did he pull an Ernie from earlier this season?
  9. Range today. Regressed a sh*tload on Key #2. Need to work on that. Not exactly happy with how it looks but pretty happy with the ball flight, distances, and consistency. Misses are pushes or hooks. Any pointers always welcome.
  10. With a rare set like that, you will probably just have to check ebay on a regular basis. The only thing I found on there was a single 8-iron. Good luck! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Daiwa-DG-201-Blade-8-Iron-Steel-Regular-Flex-/261096704261?pt=Golf_Clubs&hash;=item3cca938905
  11. Gotcha. Point well taken.
  12. "longer back stroke" "feel the weight of the putter" "just drop it onto the back of the ball" "with a slight release" I think he actually covered it quite well in the allotted 10-20 seconds he had. Of course, this is TST so someone always has to find a way to complain...
  13. LOL...yeah, don't forget the little people @iacas
  14. I did a half-assed search and couldn't see it posted anywhere. Pretty cool! Kinda like Chamblee now lol

  16. Haven't been practicing much...whenever I get time to practice I usually just go play. Hitting the ball really well, so just trying not to mess that up lol. Last 4 rounds were 79, 78, 80, 78. Oh and got a new putter too! TaylorMade Ghost Tour Corza 72. Digging the extra weight compared to my Versa #9. Also took my girls to Sea World which was rad Sorry for the VVS
  17. HAHA! Nice. Didn't realize you started playing in the 1950's...you look great for your age!
  18. Haha...well, I don't mind Bubba's "whining." I'd rather listen to him whine than read people's online whining about his whining lol.
  19. They def need more of that! Would love to hear Bubba's discussions w his caddy haha.
  20. Dude...turn the camera horizontally, it will get rid of the huge black bars on both sides of your video. Swing looks pretty good IMO. What are your misses? What are you working on?
  21. He's "having trouble replacing" it? I thought he had another one in his locker at the Barclay's...
  22. Yeah, he's OK at golf...
  23. LOL...not exactly what I was thinking haha.
