Get a set of JPX-800s. They are almost the same as 825s and you should be able to find a set for a reasonable price. A couple months back I scored a set off of Ebay for $250. TM makes nice woods but I wouldnt waste my time with their irons. Theyre OK but theyre no Mizunos.

One thing you need to understand about Tourspecgolf is that they sell JDM clubs, so they really cant sell you a U.S. market club because its something that they simply dont carry. They are still made by Miura in Japan but they arent exactly the same. Mostly the difference is the shafts. Its not as if Tourspecgolf is selling you knockoffs or lower-quality clubs, they simply dont stock U.S. market clubs. If you REALLY have your heart set on U.S. market Miuras, maybe you need to find a fitter in the states who would be more than happy to get you what you want.

IMO, its all about pride. People think that they can figure it out on their own and worry that someone is going to try to completely rebuild their swing, basically making them start back at square 1.

Nike has come a loooooooong way from the original Slingshots. That be like saying you dont like Callaway because you tried the original Big Berthas and didnt like them.

When did I say anything about Mizuno? Im just not at all impressed with Cally. Clearly you guys missed my comments in the thread about Nike.

For one, Im not Mark Crossfield. For two, yup, I like Mizuno. Thats no mystery to anyone who as seen my posts on this forum or any other golf forum.

Im surprised Brian hasnt cracked Doleman in the knee with a 9-iron yet because this whole intimidation bit is so far over the line.

Id go with a 23* (or something within a degree of that) hybrid to replace a 4-iron. If you go down to 21*, you are getting more in the neiborhood of a 3-iron.

Wake me when Callaway comes up with something that hasnt been done already...

You need to watch more of his videos then and some more recent ones before you make a statement like that.

Maybe at first but not lately. He hated the original JPX hybrids and in the case of the JPX-825s and JPX-EZs he clearly stated that if you already have JPX-800s that he doesnt see why youd upgrade. I just always laugh when people call him a Mizuno fanboy. If he had a full Mizuno bag, I could get onboard with that but its not like he thinks only Mizunos are good clubs and only uses Mizunos.

Why, because he likes Mizuno irons? He also favors Nike woods, Ping hybrids and Titleist golf balls. Funny, I dont ever recall anyone calling him a fanboy for those companies.

Nike makes great stuff, easily among the best, IMO. Theres still a lot of people out there who are Nike haters. IMO, it comes mostly from the days when Tiger had a full Nike deal, even though Nike didnt make clubs or balls at the time and Nike took his gear and basically copied it but put Nike logos on everything. Theres still a lot of people out there who feel that Nike bought their way into the golf industry. Ive played Nike gear in the past and if I werent such a Mizuno fanboy, Id probably be playing a full Nike bag right now.

I feel the same way about Holly.

'85 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Solid front and rear axles, leaf springs, manual locking hubs, lever operated transfer case, factory-installed clinometer, 5-speed manual and best of all a/c, power windows AND rear heat! It was a beast but after 250,000+ miles, the salt from Wisconsin winters was starting to catch up to it and it has some serious frame rust issues. I ended up selling it and buying a '91 Toyota 4Runner which was great too but was considerably more civilized than the '85 was.

Overrated because they barely beat Wisconsin at home and barely beat Northwestern, a team that isnt even ranked anymore. Look how many points they gave up to Illinois. Like I said, I look forward to the Buckeyes getting exposed and seeing all their fans cry. What even funnier is every day I have to listen to their fans whine about how they should be at least #2, if not #1 and how they would blow out Alabama and FSU. Let me ask you this: was Notre Dame overrated last season? Just because youre undefeated, doesnt always mean you are one of the best teams in college football. The B1G is so soft right now, theres really only 3 or 4 decent teams and of those, the only one that they have beat thus far is Wisconsin, which they barely beat at the shoe. When youre #4 and you barely beat a team that was ranked #24 at the time at home, you dont deserve to be in the discussion for a BCS national championship.

Im a big fan of Stacy, mostly because shes a Mizuno staffer. Shes overcome a lot in her life but at times she does come across as a sore loser. She hates to lose and seems to wear her heart on her sleeve, which could come across as her being a sore loser. Im actually OK with it. Id rathar her do that than to come in 2nd and be all fake by saying how happy she is for the person who beat her.

Id have loved to be picked for the Mizuno Play Famously event. LOL Seriously though, Ive considering doing the Golf Channel Am Tour and I recently attending an outing the was held by another golf forum and it was a lot of fun. It was cool to be able to finally put faces to names you see on a computer screen every day.

In any event, its a nice club for a low handicapper. It sets up with a slightly open face, so if youre someone who fights a hook, it will eliminate that side of the golf course. I used to have a full set of MP-650s (driver, 3-wood, 3-hybrid) and they were nice on days when my swing was on but I like the distance, higher launch and forgiveness of the JPX line better. The MPs were very pretty clubs but the JPXs almost feel like cheating.

Either way, OSU is going to get rocked. They are easily the most overrated team in college football. They defense sucks, they have an overrated QB and an average run game. Heck, they might not even make it past Michigan State in the B1G championship game. In any event, I look forward to seeing Buckeye fans cry when their team gets exposed.

Great irons if you can hit the center of the clubface most of the time. Id love to see some proof to back up that statement.

1-piece milled, preferrably made out of brass or forged carbon steel. Ive tried insert putters and theyre OK but they dont offer the feel that a 1-piece does.
