I think if you take a good look at it, they have both done a lot of the same things...... Both have brought millions of fans to the game, who might otherwise have never been fans, both have/had a multitude of die hard fans, both took/take advantage of sports marketing in a major way, seems to me that in the 50's and 60's Arnold was the Tiger of the day, where I think Arnold surpassed Tiger was in being a gentleman of the game, Seems as though Arnold felt/feels he owes the fans and the game something more, where Tiger does not...... That could very well be due to the different world the two lived and played in, One thing is obvious.... they both changed the game of golf JMHO

I posted before how I enjoyed the show and I did, very much........ but the thing I came away with was THIS IS A GOOD MAN, plain and simple, that fact A GOOD MAN, we see on here the posts who is the greatest golfer..... Jack/Tiger...... ok.... I would put it like Trevino did, aint neither one of them Arnold Palmer

Enjoyed it very much, Mr Palmer accomplished so much, used golf to touch so many lives, as someone else said " talk about role models" I don't know how many times during the shows, I said to my wife, " hey did you know, I never knew he, or hey check this out" Looks likethe are doing something on Payne Stewart in June

Could not disagree more......... I think the young talent is great, these guys are not being given the chance to play in the masters..... They earned it, As for the finish yesterday.... Best I've seen in some time, Guy charged all day and made an awesome shot to win in a playoff, Yeah I guess that sucks..... freakin please, Do the " Stars " need to step it up.... yeah looks like they better or they may not be stars for long,

I remember seeing a story a few years back about a lady at a Yankee's game that took a line drive foul to the face, messed her up pretty bad, multiple plastic surgery to repair the damage, she was on her own, Yankee's were under no legal obligation to help with the med bills

As I stated in an above post, my son is 7, we spend a lot of time on the golf course, what I didn't mention is that he has a cognitive learning disability, it was actually his idea to start playing, I had played a little years before his birth, not enough to really make any progress but enough to know that I was going to be totally addicted, one sunday afternoon we are watching football and they show guys playing golf, he looks up and says " Dad, can we try golf " to which I look to his mother and say " You heard that... right, Did you hear that "........ LOL This will be our second year of playing and we both have a lot of fun with it, ............. We are out on our usual late evening 9 and we see a much older gentleman, looked to be around 80, playing with another older gentleman, As it turns out , they were a father and son too.......... we get out on the course, nothing more has been said about them and a couple holes into our round, my son says " Dad........ when you get old, I will bring you to play golf , too"

I enjoy the Feherty show very much, I like his quick wit and love the interviews, I have found that many times after watching his show, I gain respect or an understanding of some of the players, that I really didn't like before the show,

Thought it may have been somewhat arrogant on his part, but the kid just put together 4 pretty impressive rounds and there seemed to be a shortage of impressive rounds......... Now is he truly top 5....... I don't know...... but if he believes he is...... then good for him, That being said, I personally would much rather see a talented young man who believes in himself, stand up and say what he believes..... than to see clubs and balls being thrown, f bombs dropped or caddies being yelled at after bad shots but that's just me........ Flash in the pan..... maybe but I think not

Thanks for responding, I have a 4 and 5 hybrid that I hit pretty well, when I stay down on it, like I said still have a tendency to want to raise up at times causing me to top the shot, When this snow finally leaves going to start hitting everything I can, brand makes no difference to me, just want to find what I can hit the best, going to continue with lessons this year, I wish I would have started 20 years ago, absolutely love this game........ With each manufacturer coming out with new sets each year, have to wonder is there that much difference between Rocketbladez and Rocketballz....... X hots from Razr X........ Amp Cells from Amps or even S3's, I by no means need the latest and greatest, just for the sake of having the new model and it makes no difference to me who makes the club..... Started playing last year, to say I am addicted is a major understatement, I FREAKIN LOVE the game of golf, getting a late start, I am 48, 5'10", bout 180, in pretty good shape, took some lessons last year, will continue with them this year, can get the ball up pretty good, when I stay down on it, still tend to want to raise up and top it at times, misses go right, not the OMG look behind me kind of right, but high and kind of floating off to the right, if that makes any sense, still for the most part get fairly good distance when I miss, just hangs and curves to right........ anyways..... sorry to ramble...... looking to get new irons, wife says she wants to buy me something.... I say alrighty then....... currently have Ping G2's, and they have just never felt right, been looking at Taylormade Rocketballz and Rocketbladez are the Rocketbladez that much different from the Rocketballz to warrant the extra cash, Callaway X hots, Cobra amp cell, and S3's, club where I play has demos in all of these but no indoor area and we have about 10 inches of snow, I will try them all before buying and will get fitted, just wondering what guys that have hit these think, any others I should maybe look at, Thanks
