  1. Lee Westwood can dead lift 300lbs and it's part of his regimen,I doubt Bobby Jones,Hogan ,Nicklaus, and other greats worked on that.
  2. I don't think you look like this overswing, but it's something to keep in mind.
  3. First I gather you are quite a good player,Your swing strikes me as being very centered with controlled head movement,a big 100-110 degree shoulder turn and a shut face at the top.I find for me,of course being older,to be a very strenuous combination of moves which do require a narrower stance which you have. This is the reason for my observation and question.
  4. Very interesting swing in post 187.I am wondering if you feel any physical strain with it as you go to the top?
  5. From the time she grips it to rips it is 5 secs...head movement is about half a head to her right. What's so hard about that?
  6. Only one swing here that Tiger said the player owned. The only other player in that category according to Tiger is Hogan.
  7. The tip that is good for all things and certainly golf-doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
  8. I think there is too much focus on steady head. It's the solid right knee and right hip turn/coil that are key. This is what all pros have in common, not the head movement.
  9. Can key #1 lead to reverse pivot and does key # 2 ,weight forward, mean weight forward from address position throughout the entire swing?..and what percent forward?
  10. Actually I have only recently addressed the 5 keys directly, and certainly NOT trashed them.My unpopularity seems to have arisen from suggesting Mickelson and Trevino's chipping/pitching methods may be the way to go. I clearly need the 5 keys to editing.
  11. The main reason for most IMO is they are doing it wrong, the phrase no golfer wants to hear and so no instructor uses.
  12. I think the 5 keys could be the simplest way of taking the average golfer and saying -if you want to hit the ball better,do this.It may not be the only way,but the simplest way ,which is what golf needs.
  13. sorry but I haven't figured the edit out yet..this should read "increasing" not decreasing "we cannot have both the right hand and left hand extension decreasing at the same"
  14. mvmac....thanks for that........as this topic goes on we are forced more and more into the mechanics of the wrists/hands/arms,something the average handicapper never considers. From what I see,as the wrists/hands approach impact, the extension of the right wrist/hand increases (to be clear, the angle between the back of the right hand and lower forearm has decreased relative to address position),or a more cocked position. If we agree and my terminology is correct, then we cannot have both the right hand and left hand extension decreasing at the same time on the way to impact. This IMO means left hand extension or cupping/flipping cannot be occurring.
  15. saevel125......I don't understand this attitude, unless it is being said all golf questions have been answered, this swing opens the door to more.
  16. iacas.....you are saying Eamonn is following all 5 keys.....it is possible there is more than one way to hit a ball without all 5 keys.
  17. This swing breaks all the laws of golf .What makes this work??
  18. Jamo...this swing was on 4 Ryder cup teams ,it may be the worst pro swing ever, how and why does it work?
  19. hopefulhacker....it's not me...this guy caused one of the top 1980's PGA pros to break his putter.
  20. Oh, ok.
  21. Ernest...where is the most recent video face on? You have the 2011 thread beginner and I don't want to go through 26 pages looking for a more recent one or is the 2011 video what you are doing today as well....thanks
  22. He looks like a pro ,flatter and shorter at the top,can we see the video?
  23. I am sure this question has been covered elsewhere on site ,but after watching Erik and Dave on the very good 5 short videos covering the 5 keys, are we talking Stack and Tilt or is this the right side swing method or something else?
