Low 90's is borderline between a stiff and regular shaft (unless you load the shaft very hard). Keep in mind that stiff, regular, x-flex are not the same across different manufacturers. Might want to look at the kick point, weight etc to determine what fits you better. For instance I play a stiff flex in a tip soft low kickpoint Speeder shaft but a regular flex 65G Proforce V2 shaft feels super boardy to me. I also swing low 90 mph with the driver. Are you looking for a higher or lower ball flight, less spin etc? I've personally had good luck with the 569 Speeder (stiff), Aldila DVS (regular), Matrix X-con 5 (regular), Prolaunch Blue (regular) and Yellowboard in the 5900 Nike.

LOL 100 mph swing and 167 mph ball speed with a super high launch angle, a ton of backspin and 285 yard carry? Was the ball shot out of a potato canon?

90-100 should be able to handle an OEM stiff shaft. Something doesn't add up though. You can hit a 3 hybrid 190 yards but when you hit your driver straight it only goes 215? A 95 mph swing should net you a 250+ yard drive.

10 minutes? You guys have some patience. If I can't find it within 45 seconds to 1 minute I drop another and move on.

Tee. If I have a bad swing and it goes OB with a lot of side spin that's probably going to be more detrimental to my score on that hole than if a shot doesn't bite on the green and I have to chip instead of putt from the fringe.

I have 08 for Xbox 360 and think it's pretty good. 09 didn't seem like enough of a difference to buy though.

That's the exact same thing my PGA pro was working with me on and it's helped a ton. Not only is the slice gone I'm hitting down and into the ball much more frequently giving added distance. The thing that he showed me to get it through my head was having me hold a club parallel to the ground with the grip in my left hand and my right hand supporting the shaft. He told me to use my left hand to turn the grip (counter-clockwise) like you would turn a screwdriver to screw something into the wall and said that is the motion I need to work on before impact to square the clubface. It's worked wonders. For me it's mental, have to remind myself to do it or I will leave the clubface open. Hopefully with some more repitition it will become natural.

Got one of those too, used it yesterday. The inside doesn't absorb water very well, it's almost like it's scotch guarded or something. Oh well. I also got an Adams A3 driver, 8 dozen golf balls (from myself), Igolf Neo and a few free rounds.

I think you should concentrate on getting into a good school, getting an education and good job and play golf recreationally like the other 99.5% of golfers in the world.

I tried a few different GPS programs on the Iphone and they were all a pain to use (or didn't work at all). My gf bought me an igolf neo for Christmas on sale for around $110 bucks and it worked flawlessly with little setup. Just turn it on, choose the course and off you go. I would never mess with a cell phone GPS program again.

So does the 5.0 equal R flex, 5.5 stiff, 6.0 X-stiff etc? I never understood high end steel shafts like Project X and DG S300/X100 etc.

Bought myself a used A3 XTD 10.5 driver and my dad an Odyssey XG #1.

Is there a big difference between the old 4.1 model and the new 7.1 as far as playability etc (not just looks). There seems to be a huge price difference (double for the newer ones)

This is a good question, I'm fighting a slice problem with my current driver and thinking about replacing it. Would love to know if a higher loft will help.

I've been using a Swinggyde during my lessons and picked one up to practice at home. It's helped me a lot, amazing how a cheap $2.00 piece of plastic can make such a difference.
