  1. Gatorade and snickers
  2. I would take some time off like you said. Usually if I'm in a slump it's because I picked up a twitch with my swing that will go away if I don't hit any balls for a few days.
  3. I've seriously thought about it. Down here it gets pretty steamy and after two or three holes my right hand is routinely slipping on the grip.
  4. Is there any way you could steal it back. That may take some thinking but that's how I am. I would figure out a way to get it back and then make it a point to wear it in front of him. You could also put that Hard Rock pin in the lost and found.
  5. Might as well take him along. You won't have to use your energy toting your clubs and if he can't read a green tune him out. He shouldn't harm your game at all.
  6. My luck that would be the first time I have a 300+ drive, hit someone on the dome, kill them, get sent to prison where I have to join a gang and get shanked until parole. What are the chances though, just hit.
  7. My dad and I got behind a foursome that consisted of an old man about 75, a guy about 45, and two younger guys around 25. SLOW AS CRAP! On one par 3 Grandpa was putting after everyone else had holed out, one of the younger guys was taking a wizz in the woods while the other chased ducks with one of his irons around the water hazard. The only guy playing right was the mid-aged guy sitting in his cart. When grandpa got done putting he would take about 2 minutes to walk off the green to the cart. We had to wait on every tee and the round took 4 hours and 45 minutes. The next week we played with nobody in front of us and finished in about 3 hours and 10 minutes and about 10 strokes less a piece. I don't mind waiting a bit but when people are hitting from one side of the fairway to the other only moving 20 yards towards the hole each time it's irritating not to mention getting you out of your rhythm.
  8. The only time I've had a drink during a round this year was during a rain delay. I don't like to drink during a round because I'm pretty serious about my game as are two of the guys I usually play with and I don't know what effect it will have. I usually don't have a good time if the people I'm playing with aren't serious about their game.
  9. Every round this year I've done this. I usually shoot around 10 strokes lower on the back nine than the front and that's after hitting a bucket of balls first. It's almost that I have to use the first 9 to figure out what is wrong with my swing that day and then the back 9 I can play like I know I should.
  10. Honors and farthest away unless there's a hurry.

    Worst golf day ever

The thing about that day was we still had a great time. If you can have all that happen and still enjoy yourself you gotta love golf.
  12. A friend and I were discussing our worst day of golf and I thought I would share the story and see what everyone else had. It was back in high school and myself, cousin, and best friend made a trip to the driving range. The first mishap was when my friend pulled out the Killer Whale driver my dad won in a tournament the week before. The club had never been hit and on the first swing the head flew off to about the 75 yard marker. My friend apologized and I said it wasn't his fault, he hadn't hit the ground or anything so it was all the clubs fault. After that he decided to sit out until we hit the par 3 course. While I was hitting the worker at the range walked up and pulled the Big Bertha Warbird out of my bag and offered me $75 for it. I said no and asked him to put it back. Before he did he did a slow practice swing and hit my friend square in the front teeth on the backswing. Now he was bleeding and a small triangle was chipped out of his two front teeth, the range worker was freaking out and my cousin and I were holding back a laugh. Soon after that we decided to leave but before we could my friends truck was hit by a golf ball from the par 3 course. To top it off we hit a dog on the way home.
  13. 1. Consistently shoot in the 90's. 2. Play at least 4 rounds a month. 3. Finally get some lessons.
  14. In my own little world I still believe
  15. One of the coursed I play has free Callaway range balls. NICE!
