  1. As a fellow Metro Detroiter, I feel your pain, ITgolfHack. I was fortunate enough to actually get the lawn mowed and make it to the range after 5pm tonight...just got home! You must admit that the storms this year have been worse than most...it isn't usually quite this bad. Still, it does sting when we only get three 'Summer-like' months in Michigan and a good 1/3 of those days are rainy. sleepy
  2. The woods and irons were free...handed down to me when my Grandpa passed. The driver and putter where also hand me downs, from my father and brother, respectively; leaving only the sand wedge and shoes. sleepy
  3. Thanks Q! I tried checking out the Titleist website yesterday but couldn't get it to come up correctly. 1974, huh? Yikes...these things are older than my Ping Eye 2's! sleepy
  4. Hmm, well 'rock hard' wasn't exactly the adjective I was looking for. Ah well, no worries. The price was right, so I'll knock 'em around for a while and see how it goes. If nothing else I'm sure I can pawn them off on one of my Titleist-junkie golf buddies...I'll let them know that these are the 'old-school' DT's. sleepy
  5. Thanks for the quick reply! That makes sense...kind of like the 'original' DT, eh? ;) Being that I normally play a Noodle or Titleist DT SO / LO, you think these would be okay for someone with a slower swing speed like me? sleepy
  6. Hello, I recently bought some Links Choice used and reconditioned balls from Meijer ($19.99 for 24 balls). A good deal, but I'm a bit confused as to the exact model of ball. I am fairly familiar with the Titleist DT 'family' of balls, but I haven't seen these before. They have the normal 'Titleist' and then a number, but the ball model is simply ''...not DT Carry, or DT Roll, DT SO / LO, or even DT Wound. Here's a couple of pictures for reference. Sorry for the poor quality...these were taken with my phone. Any input would be greatly appreciated, sleepy
  7. 5 wood. I don't hit so far... sleepy
  8. Neither. GolfPride Tour Wraps for me. Mmmmm, tacky! sleepy
  9. My irons are 20+ years old...Ping Eye 2's handed down from my grandfather. If they're in this good of shape after 20+ years w/o head covers, I don't really see the need to start using them now. sleepy
  10. FootJoy because that's what I've always worn. Come to think of it, I've never even thought of wearing anything else. I guess 'FootJoy' is to golf gloves what 'Kleenex' is to facial tissue for me...synonymous. sleepy
  11. I voted for the Titleist DT SOLO because I've used it in the past, and because my current ball, the Maxfli Longest Noodle wasn't in the list. sleepy
