I find when I play by myself that I "care" less and don't follow the rules as much in favor of practicing more. I get finished my round and have no idea what I actually shot. I much prefer playing with a random that I get paired with at the first tee than alone.

I'm from Maryland too. Parents live in the Frederick Area. Where do you play. For a good value I like Rattlewood. For a great course I like Whiskey Creek. In a (penny) pinch, Hope Valley.

I shot 90 with 36 putts on Friday. Had a putt for 89 too and missed! Had 5 birdie putts within 10 feet...I think I know what I need to work on.

Is my driver shaft too stiff?

In general, if I hit my driver very low and with a hook when i mis-hit, would my shaft be too stiff? or too flexible? -
Approx. how much does it cost to get fitted and reshaft a driver?

Drivers for mid to high handicappers

If anyone is interested, I have Cleveland Hib-bore XL 9.5° I'm thinking about selling. Stiff shaft. I bought it late last summer and used it for maybe 3 rounds and gave up on using a driver until i can hit it better. It is in near mint condition. No ding, scratches, etc. Head cover included. -
At work... How are the conditions today? worse than yesterday morning or better? Go Rocco!

If I'm playing with friends, it is ready golf. If it is people I don't know, I plays honors until I feel them out to see if they care.

Sounds awesome, I've heard that even though it is the best atmosphere in the ACC, the CU fans are still pretty gracious to the visitors. Good luck this year, I don't hate Clemson nearly as much as other ACC teams. BTW, I was second row mid court for our debacle of a basketball game against you last year at Comcast.

and now PSU wants a 2 for 1 to play us again. I know you guys pummeled us in the past, but nowadays I think it would be a great series. I'm still pissed we are taking off two years of the WVU series to play Cal.

I'm a huge Maryland Terrapins fan. I'm really trying to go down to Death Valley for the game this year. I hear it is a great experience! Hopefully the refs don't try to screw us like the last time we beat you guys in DV.

I just graduated in May 07, so I have my student loans. I have like a grand on a 0% credit card, that I'll pay off before the 0% ends. Also have a Infiniti G37 that I have monthly payments for. No mortgage yet.
