    Mental Game?

Before you hit your shots take a nice deep breath. This helps to calm you down and release the tension on your body.
  2. [QUOTE=N.V.M.;201498]don't read this if you're prudish! What a freaking awesome story. Thanks for sharing!!!
  3. The most awkward moment would have to be when my friend hit a missile about 2 feet off the ground off the tee and went straight right and there happened to be a cart with a mom, dad, and young son who was sitting in the middle. The ball proceeded to hit about 6 inches below where the windshield would be on the front of the cart and probably would have killed the little kid had it hit him.
  4. Use a meter stick and some tape or whatever and spray paint it. Probably a lot cheaper and pretty easy to do.
  5. I tried on the Powerbands recently and I thought they werent nearly as comfortable as a lot of Nike's that I have tried out.
  6. It depends where they measure from and where you measure from though. I really doubt the manufacturers lie about shaft lengths that usually arent made by them.
  7. I think people should get clubs that arent draw biased. How can your game improve in the long run if you use clubs right now that fix your slice for you now? People should just get regular clubs and work on their game because in the long run you will be a better golfer for it. That is unless you have been golfing forever and just cant straighten your shot.
  8. An important thing to look at when getting a driver is the loft. Most tour players use 9.5* and lower i think. That is because their swing speeds are usually a lot higher than most people. The slower swing speed you have the more loft on a driver you need so that you can get the ball in the air higher and it will give you more distance. That is why senior and junior woods have more loft than other woods so that they can get the ball in the air with their slower swing speeds and get more distance.
  9. Too much bounce like the 54.14 can be alright but you have to make sure to get a decent bit under the ball you will top it. Also if you play on courses that are usually really hard and also have harder sand you will want less bounce so the club will not bounce of the ground because you won't be able to leave a divot on the hard ground. The lower bounce clubs let you get less under the ball but its also easier to dig the club into the ground if you play on softer ground or in fluffy sand.
  10. I would probably go with the 54.10 to be on the safe side. I usually dont leave much of a divot if any at all and the 10* bounce is almost to much for me so I think it would be perfect for you.
  11. Ya its wierd for me. Im 6'3" and used to use a 36" putter but I always choked up on it. I got a 34" putter recently and still always wanted to choke up on and it feels wierd when I don't for some reason. So I decided to get a 35" putter and just choke up on it because I have much better feel it seems when I do.
  12. Fay was the hurricane in Florida last week. I think its really import for high handicappers to use a tee that is at a set height. Some of my friends are extremely bad and will tee it up at way different heights and it is just another variable not to have to worry about.
