I use a slighly wider stance with my driver and 3-wood as it allows me to hit it hard and stay in balance

Been working on it alot lately,hitting the ball great. would love some advice or analysis to maybe improve it even more

My Local pro told me the reason I have to drop it on the inside is because my backswing plane was not set properly, he said it was a fraction too upright and if I didn't drop it on the inside I would block the shot or have to save it with my hands, he said my swing was similar to charles howell III

Lately I have been striking the ball very well due to droping my arms on the inside to begin my downsing, it gives me a great feeling of lag and leverage and also delays my hips from spinning out to quickly and instead of hitting my usual fade I now either nail it straight or get a nice 5-10 yard draw, I really can't believe how much better I strike the ball when I do this, I used to have such a fear of hitting low irons like my 3 or 4 iron but now I have so much confidence in hitting them solid. I just wanted to know does anybody else do this move as it has completely changed my game for the better

You need to feel like you are swinging more up the plane as apose to swinging around your body, I had the same problem last year, hope this helps

shot a 79 today in my local open, not bad considering the awful rain and wind I had to contend with, as if my home course wasn't hard enough as it was

I need that inbetween club for 3w-3i Which would be the most accurate as my home course is very narrow and requires you to be very accurate and maybe give your opinion on why a certain club you really like, cheers

ye i was watching him, and that was with a bogey on the last, he fatted his approach in the water lol but played well all day compared to his 7 over par first round, but thats understandable since he came from the usa the night before and with all that jet lag I followed Mcilroy aswell today by god does he hit it pure, such a beautiful and powerfull effortless swing, he will win many majors

nah you can indeed walk around, strictly no cams allowed tho

Probably 8 or 9 out of 10 will be pure, it's easy to find a good rythem in the range

gary player did not say that, he was the one to say recently that ''tiger is too wristy for a big guy'' he even offered woods some teaching advice. before 2005 tiger had always played with a square to slightly closed clubface birth - 1997 = through this period he played with a almost fully shut face (clubface points towards sky) he needed to be super quick with his power to hold the face square but it suited him as his hips were so fat 1998-2004 = under butch he moved to a more square to still slightly shut face, this is the swing when tiger was at his best and imo he should have never changed it 2005-present = tiger now has very weak grip and still maintains a flat left wrist but not enough to remove hand action from his swing, oh and just to remind you ben hogan spent 40 years of his life before he finally learned his swing, he hit thousands upon thousands of balls all week long, how could he not perfect it with his cupped left wrist

Tiger is strugling, he's playing a little to conservative imo, he hit iron off the short par 4 4th when he could have easily hit a wood and be close instead the iron goes into short bunker, not the play when you are chasing a pack on sunday, Mcdowell is going to win.

Shot a nice 75 today, 3 0ver par front nine and eve par back, no birdies with 3 bogeys and 15 pars, pleased with how consistant I played even though I didn't make a birdie
