+1 right there. I had the same problem and just switched last year. It's really low flight , cost ~70 from golfsmith, and should help you. You should still see a professional fitter though.

MESSAGE FOR EVERYONE. Some people don't realize it but the Odyssey i want, Tour Designs, is a NON insert putter. And thanks for replies.
-
Thanks everyone, but my main reason is to be a better player.
-
the insert has dents in it. for what reason is beyond me.

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide what putter to buy because my old one's face is scratched up. I have looked through a lot of putters and have come down to two contenders, The Odyssey Black Series Tour Designs #9 and the Scotty Cameron California Del Mar. I have tried them both at Golfdom, and they both feel fantastic. The Odyssey's weighting was perfect and the feel was great as well. The Scotty to me had better feel but the weight was too heavy and i liked the Odyssey's head shape and color better. Although i know you can change the weighting, you can't change the head design. My question to you is, which would you choose if you were in my shoes and why and/or which would you choose for yourself and why. Thanks!

How long is your driver shaft (thats what she said)
zanga254 replied to kjb008's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Since I've posted, I have switched to a prolaunch red and my shaft is now 45". -
I have the same problem, so if you considered the overall spin, how long the spin lasts, feel and sole grind's effects, which is better? old 2009 vokey or Jaws? also new CC 2010 Vokeys or Jaws?

What shaft did you choose for driver?
zanga254 replied to bpolunin's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have Prolaunch Red which is really low launch. It's got a high kickpoint. I thought frequency was essentially a more exact shaft flex measurement... -

http://blogs.golf.com/equipment/2009...20209_headline Just wanted to show you if you didn't know about the release of the VR Driver yet. Some new technology in the Str8-fit driver. BUT, Nike is also releasing a 400cc driver. That's gonna be exciting! Each $479.00

I was wonder amid all the argument about the rule change in 2010 and people stocking up on wedges, can you just use a groove sharpener that sharpens current square grooves to create that same square groove in competition conforming wedges? In other words, can you sharpen square grooves into 2010 grooves? Another question, if you can't do the first question, what wedge has the most spin. I know that this is a redundant question, but only answer this question if... +You have tried the wedge +You have tried the different wedges that you are comparing it to. +You have adequate knowledge of how a wedge's groves work and how the wedge you pick is so special. and please no coaching. Thanks also, i know it is about volume and edge sharpness, not shape.

Which balls <$20 to try?
zanga254 replied to mhodar13's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Apparently the Srixon ad333's are the best in spin and just all around performance for an affordable ball. -
Any iron set that has the same feel as Vokey wedges?
zanga254 replied to timastyle's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Geez, no one can answer a question. http://blog.myostrichgolf.com/blog/_...5/2419179.html One thing that i've learned from this site a long time ago is that swingweight can be changed very easily. If you want a vokey like swing weight, here are two things to try. -im not sure if your callaways are graphite but if they are, try switching to steels. They're usually in the 120 gram range and that will help increase weight. -A lighter grip helps, and is a cheaper solution. Winn is coming out with a new grip called the winnlite, but it's not for sale yet. hope this helps more than the others. -
some golfer has a forward press, which is when they lean their shaft forward during putting, reducing effective loft. A 4 degrees putter helps with this. The loft of the putter can be fine tuned just like any other club. Since the optimal launch angle of a putter is 3 degrees, you might need to buy a putter with 2 degrees of loft. It is possible that your putting storke is wrong. Can you putt fine with other clubs?

The Footjoy Pure Touch Glove, Worth it?
zanga254 replied to zanga254's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
O, thanks guys, and whale who donated their skins. Another question i have, since the original is drying out, is why manufacturers don't precurve the gloves to near grip position. I mean, they say it's precurved, but there are still wrinkles on the glove at the finger joints when i grip the club. -

Honestly, if it doesn't relate, don't bother. 'specially with ghetto grip techniques. -

The coupon idea sounds great, but isn't it in limited production?
