Once you go hybrid you wont go back, infact you will add another one. Once you figure you can do so much with so little ease. You will love the full shots, but those choke down shots is what you can't believe you can hit any distance you want.

I just changed from the Nike Dymo, to the R9. Thought R9 was kind of gimmic-e. But has smaller head and comes off hot, havn't played with the different postions either.

I agree with the people that said you must try on your own, go out and test a couple out first. I can only speak from what I liked. I have had Titleist Spin Milled, and Clevelands. But for me, I loved the solid fell of the forged wedge. So I went with the Nike VR's. But Callaway makes a forged wedge as well, and Phil uses that one, and not their tour line. So try a couple and make sure to try the forged ones as well. Happy hunting.

Jack always said "the club in your hand should be your favorite club" meaning all of them. But that being said, I love the ease of the hybrid. I will say I love my putter to.

I had the same bag. But when I ordered my VR Irons, I ordered without the 4 iron. I love the hybrid for the variety of shots, it will stop on a dime, out of the rough, other trouble, etc. But the biggest thing for me was the confidence I have with the 4h, so much I ditched the 5 wood and went with the same degree of loft with the 3h.

I think Tiger is better than Jack. I also believe he is right up with Michael Jordan for greatest athlete off all time. Lee Trevino battled Jack a lot, and he thinks Tiger is better, so I trust Trevino's eye more than mine.

The media always wants someone to challenge Tiger, and now the new media darling is Rory McIlroy. I have only seen him a couple of times and yes what a talent at 19 but didn't the media pump up Sergio when he was 19 contending for a major? Sergio is a great player but hasn't won a major, which he could in the next couple of years. So being the next Sergio wouldn't be bad. I hope Rory enjoys himself and doesn't lose perspective with all the attention and everyone telling him how great he is. Not bagging on either player, but just would like to see Rory grow and mature as a player. My wife also thinks he needs a hair cut.

"Would it be weird that if I went standard my 2 hybrid would be shorter than my 3 iron?" For me it didn't matter I would hit on a launch moniter to see what the distance is between the 2h and 3 iron. But for me it didn't matter because the hybrid carried so far.

22* degree Hybrid if weather is good. Of course I always look to see where the miss is. If short is dead, then club up.

I would get a hybrid just for the variety of shots you can make with it. Your looking at something were you can use off the tee, shots into the green that will stop on a dime, and for me I use it a lot to recover, and pull of low spinning shots that I can't with my irons. For me I am 6'4 with half inch longer shafts bent 3* upright, my 2 hybrids are standard. I heard the same you did, don't lengthen the shafts you will make it flater. But I haven't noticed any miss hits. I love the Burner Rescue Hybrids.

I saw a friend's pair of Nike basketball shoes burst after dunking. The Nike rep said it happens from time to time but we never had any problems after that one. I'm loyal to Nike for giving me free shoes over the years for basketball, and now love the golf shoes they make and never had a problem. I have a narrow foot and Nike's seem to fit better for my narrow feet.

I love my Scotty Cam. I have the Studio Select Newport 2. I did send it in to have more weight (10 grams) added to it. I just love the solid feel of the Scotty's.
