  1. i think that a fully matched set is not a good thing... forcing yourself to play only one brand of clubs will not allow you to reach the fullest potential you can have... i would definately not mismatch wedges though... not wise to have one 588, one vokey, and a TM TP...
  2. short anser... no long anser... they are tour proto's and when the pro's want a new set they have to turn in the old ones which are destroyed... im almost 100% positive that they are not coming to reatail...
  3. yea i have noticed this... but its funny to me b/c i buy all of my stuff is tour issue so i never buy it from a store (cept my irons wich are PING WRX)... lol
  4. dosent matter which one you get cause any bushnell is great but i like the PS1500 the best personally...
  5. yea i think the r7 TP's are the best shot one might have...
  6. i dont think the change will hurt him though...
  7. i would have to say that when my school golf team won the match that ultimately put us into the state tournament... i shot a 38 to put us in... i was thrilled we were goin...
  8. ok i dont wanna sound odd or lame but all of them are my go to clubs if i didnt feel like i could take it out of the bag @ anytime then it wouldnt be in my bag... but if i had to choose 1 it would be has to in the FW- 4wood has to be a safe layup- w/e gets me to a full swing anywhere inside 150
  9. my main goal for '07 is to reduce my handi to a 3 in order to do that i need to do several things 1- Focus more on the shot @ hand not the last shot: i have a verry poor mental game that winds up hurting me, it's not my ability thats holding me back most its my mind... 2- Complete my swing changes: me and my coach are in the finishing stages to my swing change once this is complete i should be set (of course i will continue to see him every week) 3- Last, improve putting: this is not helping me rite now...
  10. well in this case i can write a book too since ive won as many pro tounaments as she has... this girl just dose not get it does she???
  11. idk 4 sure if im gettin this but i hav a pretty good suspicion that i am... Ben Hogan BHB1-C putter by Bettinardi (almost the same as the Mizuno C-Series) Taylormade RAC TP wedges (satin) more Bridgestone B330's of course FJ Golf gloves FJ GF-2's (b/c i need a pair of brown an white one's) thats wat i suspect im getting but im not 100% sure of it...
  12. actually u wont haf to putt w/ ur 3 wood b/c tour satge, precept, and bridgestone are owned by the same co. so they basically r 1 golf co...
  13. well i think i would have to go with PING... of thier stuff dosent work the best for me (such as the r7 425 is better for me than the G5) if i had to play just PING clubs i think it would be ok... but its nice not to have to worry about a contract and get to play the clubs i want to... i kno that the pro's can sign a contract juss for the irons (or other piece of equipment) but u get wat im sayin

    Beat This

i have school... an then basketball practice... why cant the water pump break there... an as for basketball i love it but i love golf a zillion times more so y cant the backboards break or somthin... congrats to u though
  15. on all my wedges i use full corded grips... the reason is that i take off my glove on anything but full shots for wedges an my hand kept on slipping a little so the corded grips do great...

    How far?

i would say that some overestemate w/o doing it on purpose but others try to make themselves look better... i said 25yds+ b/c that seem the most common to me
  17. but you felt for the guy...right??? i mean he's out there playing in a tournament that he's always wanted to play in... you didnt pull for him at all??? that was just an example... heres another one: our (USA's) Ryder Cup captain, Tom Lehman... played on the Nationwide/Nike tour and brought it up to the next level, a late bloomer but he gets it done... you didnt pull for that??? neither did i but i was 1yr old ... seriosly you cant tell me that you never pull for the under-dog... DONT YOU HAVE A HEART??? (j/k)
  18. my best ever is a 78 (twice), i've shot 79's and 80's bunches too... still trying to get lower
  19. i think most golfers do root for the under-dog... for instance Jason Gore last year at Pinehurst no. 2 people around there really wanted to see him do well...
  20. i had a 13* 3-wood, i hit it about 255-265yds... so i had a gap from 255-230yds... i got a Mizuno MP001 4 wood (16.5*) and that i hit 245-255yds its perfect for me... i wouldnt recomend that for you based on my expirience but you should try it and find if it does work for you my yardage averages driver- 280yds 4 wood- 250yds hybrid-230yds 3i- 215yds 4i- 205yds 5i- 190yds 6i- 180yds 7i- 170yds 8i- 155yds 9i- 145yds w- 135yds 54*-125yds 58*-110yds
  21. i hope he does better than that!!! i am rooting for him too... oh, i love your home course (Tanglewood), the champions is better i played it 3 times (81,82,79) its really cool
  22. driver- 4 months 4 wood- 1 month hybrid- 7 months irons- 1 year wedges- almost a year putter- 10 months i pretty much have finally found the clubs that i'm comfortable with... the 4 wood completed my transistion amd should be good for about a year or two with most of the clubs (irons, wedges, putter: will stay for a while; driver, 4 wood, hybrid: most likely get new in year or two)... i'm happy for now though
  23. i played a course that i hadnt play befor today... it was a oldstyle layout (in bad shape) and shot a 82 so i am not to happy about that this was my first round in the 80's in 4 rounds and i am dissapointed about that... but i guess its alright for never having played it before
  24. i agree about the brands i think that its an important to have all of the same brands
  25. i live in NC...
