has anyone actually made an order off this site? I tried yesterday but when I went to register for an account (you need to in order to checkout) I wasn't able to. It said 'unable to add user'... The 1-888-NICKENT number doesn't work and I tried Emailing their customer service and got an unable to deliver notification I NEED a 4DX Pro 4-Iron

next time you encounter a snake kick sand into its eyes as they don't have eyelids/can't blink

oh good definitely putting all of my eggs into this basket.. reminds me of last year when Golfsmith would've given free drivers if Sergio won at Augusta or Phil or Rocco won the US Open

Where can you get it for $70??

Small change of plans...I'll be busy tomorrow, so I think I'm going on Wednesday instead and maybe on Sat or Sunday. Anyone knows what Tiger typically does on Wednesday? Early, early? On Wednesday I think it opens at 7am instead of 9, so that helps... Also I believe kids under 12 are free. Just a heads up.

So...you think early Tuesday morning (like 6-7am) would be my best bet??
-
Anyone with any idea what he usually does for his practice rounds? Tickets are available (still available, I hope!) for $35 on Tuesday and Wednesday and I'm interested in following Tiger, among a few other names. So...what day and what time does Tiger typically play his practice round? Is it early, early Tuesday or Wednesday morning??

Wow looks great. Where'd you get it for $70?

I heard during the British Open or the Memorial that Tiger has 3 finishes in his follow through (may have been Faldo). Does anyone know what they are and how that shapes a particular shot? I understand a high finish means a high trajectory and actually tried it out - and it worked today I was wondering if anyone knew what the other 2 were, how I can replicate them and what kind of shape or trajectory it produces. Thanks!

Why does Japan have it's own exclusive market??
Comeback City replied to Golfaway's topic in Golf Talk
Wow that Mizuno JP site is pretty crazy...they have a titanium faced iron?? Well, at least it says Ti-Face or something like that... Also their putters look like flying saucers... -
yea...i have this same problem - I'm right handed and my right ring finger hurts...and yeah i think its because i grip it too tightly
-
What a heartbreaker... Up 2-0 at halftime...I was going crazy when Dempsey put USA up 1-0 and then again after Donovan's goal...but Brazil dominated the second half...final score should have been 4-2...

New Bag, Club Management Tips...
Comeback City replied to SuperWade2's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have that same back except in Green in Black... I keep my Driver + 3-wood towards the back and my wedges in the front and everything else fits in nicely in between. There's enough space so I can keep 2 Irons in each slot and I have my 5-wood, putter, hybrid in its own slot... -
Help me decide which set to buy
Comeback City replied to IPL4YFORKEEPS's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I would say it might be a good idea to get a full set from Sports Authority or Dick's or Golfsmith or whatever...You can check out www.sportsauthority.com and go to their golf section and click on full sets...you have a good deal of options - full sets with Bag, Driver, Woods, Irons, Putter and even Wedge from $150 to $400 or so. Then you can slowly build your own bag...replace the Driver, Woods, Wedges, Irons at your own discretion. My brother got a RAM set for about $75 as a floor model (there was a pretty good coupon discount as well - every time Sports Authority or Dick's has a 20% coupon or whatever a lot of these clubs are eligible) and even though the reviews were bad (stories of the Driver and Woods breaking), the clubs seem OK and decently made. I don't think he's going to have a problem with any of the clubs breaking and for under $100 it's a good deal... -

I will be going to Chicago on Monday to Thursday and I'm looking to play some golf! :) My brother lives right off Logan Square in Chicago and any course recommendations would be great. For reference, he's a beginner, so I am thinking one of the Chicago public courses and maybe a nicer one. I think I may have the opportunity to actually play 3-4 courses (arrive Monday morning, leave Thu. Night)... I have the Golf Digest best in State (Public) list here: 1. Cog hill Golf & Country Club, Lemont, IL 2. TPC Deere Run, Silvis, IL 3. Bull Valley Golf Course, Woodstock, IL 4. The Glen Club, Glenview, IL 5. WeaverRidge Golf Club, Peoria, IL 6. Cantigny Golf Club, Wheaton, IL 7. Chalet Hills Golf Club, Cary, IL 8. The general at Eagle Ridge, Galena, IL I will be looking into that a bit more (distance from Logan Square is somewhat of a priority as well) Also Golf Magazine had a "Chicago issue" a few months ago and this is it: 1. Orchard Valley Golf Club, $53-$76, 6,745 yards Par 72 2. Heritage Bluffs Golf Club $34-$63, 7,171 yards Par 72 3. George W. Dunne National (Listed Above) 4. Cantigny (Listed Above) $85-$107, 7,004 yards Par 72 5. Harborside International (Port) $82-$95, 7,164 yards Par 72 6. Pine Meadow Golf Club $79-$100, 7,238 yards Par 72 7. The Glen Club $132-$177, 7,149 yards Par 72 8. Cog Hill No.4 (Listed Above) $150, 7,386 yards Par 71 9. Ruffled Feathers Golf Club $125, 6,898 yards Par 72 So again, looking for any recommendations/experiences from golf courses and please feel free to list any courses that you'd recommend. Thanks!

Golf Bags, What do you do?
Comeback City replied to Donnie_Brasco's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I got a Nike Xtreme Sport Carry II... It's got plenty of space for clubs, light and has a nice strap. It's not exactly stable though and can be liable to tip over...Otherwise it's a pretty solid bag. And yeah I have a Nike Driver, Fairway Wood and Wedges, so yeah that ties into it. -
1. Using two gloves in rotation - switching it up each round 2. Using two gloves - switching it up after the first one completely wears out... ?? Seems like they would last you the same amount of time...but what are the advantages of keeping a good rotation...
