  1. its best to know someone at a store to get you a discount. I got my UnderArmour golf shirts at discount. Also JCPenney has some great deals on PGA Tour shirts and also golf shorts. And my Cleveland shirts, well those i got for work.
  2. do what you feel most comfortable at doing. but the fade is magnificent, like said before, keeps you out of trouble more often. The last thing i'm worried about is getting more distance. I hit it far enough.
  3. proper alignment.
  4. i used to play the draw until i realized it got me into more trouble than needed, also my pro knocked some sense into me. The fade is the way to go. Having a ball go straight and then fall to the right. Nothing is more beautiful than that.
  5. i notice a bitch of a hitch in the take away with your hands....i have the same problem and am trying to fix.
  6. not playing. i'm going to be doing a demo day up there this coming friday.
  7. well thank you for the clarification, i just asked my Pro and he sided with you guys and said "ultra private" so this should be a nice visit this coming friday.
  8. Anyone been to or planning on going to Ridgewood? I'll be up there this weekend on Fri i believe for a demo day. I hear its a beautiful place. Not sure if its private or not.
  9. was just going to say that. go get a 50 or 52 CG12 and bend it to 51.
  10. the A flex is one thing i was afraid those would have. how old and tall, etc. i have a feeling A flex is WAY too flexible. you said you hit them great this time, but that may not last.
  11. it should have a R or S on the shaft for regular or stiff....
  12. i'd worry about your grammar before you start thinking about choosing a "golf" school.
  13. I was also wondering about shaft flex. I know nothing about your swing, but i do know not a majority of people play graphite irons. One being too light and also too flexible. Like i said i know nothing about you or your swing, but unless your a Jr. or a Sr. or have a really slow swing speed, i would shy away from graphite shafted irons.
  14. i said this in another thread and i'll say it again in this one. Golf Pride Multi-Compound
  15. very well said. I have also found out that writing down in my notebook every shot, from what distance, and where it went has been a HUGE help. i feel more confident on every shot because i know i have done it before. Not just in my mind telling myself that, but on my notebook i have. Trust me, my pro told me to get a notebook, i have. its helped greatly.
  16. dont forget to get a small booklet to write down everything you went over in the lesson!
  17. haha i was just gonna say that. bummer, but a 2 stroke penalty
  18. honestly if you, and for that matter anyone reading this, are taking lessons and taking them seriously as you should be if you are paying. get a small booklet, and IMMEDIATELY after the lesson write down in the book anything the pro went over. This way you can always revert back to the book for the changes. Its something anyone serious about golf should be doing.
  19. do not go with Winn on irons. Winn grips are made for one thing and one thing only. A putter. Dont believe anything butch harmon says. Winn grips on irons are garbage and definitely not worth the money.
  20. Paula has had a stomach virus for months now...
  21. i just got my clubs regripped today actually. and how could i go with anything other than these.... http://golfpride.com/grips/cord/mc_nd_Shamrock.aspx
  22. yea, noticed that too.
  23. i love any and all golf. put it on the golf channel, i'll watch.
  24. I'm with Iacas. I almost expect to make every putt. especially anything within 15ft or so.
