  1. Good for you. My hom course, Oak Creek, charges $1,500 a year for unlimited range and short game practice area.
  2. Accuracy has to do with how many satellites the GPS receiver in your phone is able to pickup. The more points of referrence, the better the accuracy. My GPS is most accurate when it can pick up at least 7 satellites. Anything less due to weather, obstructions, then I can be off by 10-20 yards.
  3. I think you're referring to the GPS navigation service. That's separate and not needed to use your golf gps software.
  4. You might end up blading/thinning the ball. You might also move the sweet spot also so I don't know if it's worth the effort. If you are going to try however, please do share with us how it works out. I'm very curious.
  5. I think your driver head will either have the "pop" or it won't, and it should be obvious once you've hit it. The face and make up of the driver head is so thin that once something is wrong (broken) then it's really broken. There's no in between.
  6. My Callaway irons are also cast and I sent them back to Callaway to get the lie adjusted. Callaway charged me $30 and guaranteed the work while no other shop would even touch them.
  7. Personally no. If I can find a killer deal on some then I'll stock them and flip them back once they become harder to obtain. ;)
  8. I bought the set of Stack & Tilt DVD's over a year ago. As soon as they arrived and I realized that it was being distributed through Medicus golf I got on the phone and sent the DVD's back for a full refund. I then called my bank and got a new card issued so that they couldn't charge me anything down the road even if they wanted to.
  9. You have to measure from the butt of the grip to the bottom of the sole. Stopping at the hosel probably will not give you an acurate number. Stock for stock the 60 is supposed to be the same, if not shorter than the SW.
  10. Wow, I wonder if she's married. Sounds like she has a lot bottled up inside.
  11. One more vote for freecaddie. I used it on my BlackJack II when it first came out and still have it loaded on my phone now.
  12. I can't imagine anyone still have the old version in stock. Are you sure you're not looking at the new one? It has the little "Tournament Edition" at the top corner of the box.
  13. Was it colder out when you're playing with the new driver? I use the epoch tee and each one lasts me well over 20 rounds. One time I was playing at around 40F out and snapped about 5-6 of them.
  14. Use this code for free shipping. Good until 6/30: BESTGOLFER7
  15. I'm assuming that you're talking about the I-Mix as I have not heard of the I-Fit. FT-5 is a solid head. I have a 8.5 neutral with a fubuki tour shaft and it knocks the 08 TM Burner out of my bag. The only turn off would be the sound that it makes. The FT-5 is probably the loudest sounding driver I've seen. As far as fakes, I have not heard/seen of fakes involving the I-Mix system. With that said it doesn't hurt to ask for the serial number.
  16. They're the biggest if not the best recycled golf balls vendor in the US. Try the AAA first if you have not bought before. I think you'll be happy with their AAA grading system. There's a big step down when you go with the AA.
  17. You really can't compare these directly to the Pro V1's because they're not the same. Red - Spins less, lower ball flight, softer feel Black - opposite from above As you can see, you Red is not like the Pro V1 nor the V1x
  18. Yes, if you can't find it then it's a lost ball.
  19. My local course has an air hose at the cart return area that you could use to blow all the cr@p off of the bottom of your shoes. It works great and I think all golf courses should have them. Besides that I always wipe them down with a towel after every round. I don't like to bang them together or againts the concrete because the spikes always break off.
  20. It depends on the type of hitter you are. If you tend to dig a lot then a thin sole would just dig straight into the ground leaving you with chunks or fat shots. The wider sole aids in gliding or skipping through the turf.
  21. Also, what color are the top couple of grooves on the club face? I think 2 white lines are standard. Mine are 2 red lines which means 2* flat.
  22. Or you can take a both 9 irons and put them next to each other on a table or something with the heads hanging off of the edge and see if the toes are at different angles.
  23. Have you checked the lie angle on the fusions? Sounds like they could be too flat.
  24. My vote is for the Fusions. Great feel, very forgiving, sets up nice and not too much offset. I can draw the ball with these or hit them dead straight, but can't seem to fade them. My setup is -3/4" and 2* flat. My distance with the PW is about 120. $225 is a great price and I would go for it if they come with the steel uniflex. If you get them and don't like them, you can probably flip them on Ebay and still make a small profit. In that sense it can't hurt, but I'm pretty sure you're going to keep them.
  25. No the sale doesn't have anything to do with the mixup because both the Red and Black are one sale. Also everything you'll find in the stores right now are the new ones.
