  1. booze it up bro! hahaha!!
  2. same swing style, but more speed now i used to have a quite slow tempo swing, but have put on about 15lbs. of muscle since (damn gym!! haha) so for some reason i am swinging faster w more power ....definatly notice it too 150 yds, WAS an 8 iron, now it's either a 9 or PW irons are like laser beams, but i just cant make the D1 work ...it wont let me shape anything i could shape my 907T really nice
  3. you guys are wicked that is what i was thinking, but it's tough as i have been out of the element as far as equipment goes i know i sound like Brian from Big Break PEI! haha! But i do have the skills and know what to do to get my game back......just need the time and practice to get back into it, which is tough in my career...but not impossible sure is tough golfing in the low 80's when I KNOW i can golf in the mid to low 70's thanks again guys, much appreciated will let you know how the D2 works out
  4. ok guys/gals let me give you some background on my game, b/f i tell you whats up -been golfing since i was 13 - now 29 -my first year and 2 years after I was junior club champ @ my homecourse -was a 2 hndcp all thoughout Junior & H/S -all self taught, no lessons, baseball grip - i have been told i have a very smooth, natural swing - whataver that means!!! haha -game was wicked, but life happened an I put the sticks down for about 2 years -picked em up again about 5 years ago -last year didnt golf one round, as we had a baby - justy couldnt find the time -this year i want to get back into things quite seriously i am only playing to aabout a 9-10 hndcp or so...which is tough for me b/c i am used to playing WAY better than this - just need to unleash the skills somehow ok...now here is my deal i can not find the proper driver/shaft combo last year i played, i was hitting the Titleist 905T 9.5* w a regular YS-6 shaft -i hit it quite well, BUT BERY high...like to the moon high -i recently switched to the D1 w a Graffaloy Blue 9.5* Stiff shaft...couldnt hit the broad side of a barn w this thing. The face felt open all the time and as a result, I was blocking the ball all the time -i recently ordered up the D2 9.5* w the Diamana Blue Stiff -havent hit it yet, but after reading the reviews on this site, it seems like the better club for me -i like to be able to shape a few shots, and the D1 just didnt let me do that anyone else have similar issues or like their D2? i have always a hit Titleist Drivers and love them, but the D1 through me for a loop oh yeah...my swing speed varies between 99-104MPH, according to the simulator at Golf Town any ideas???? Thx!

  6. my Vokey Wedges..okay not "one" piece, but two :)
  7. a lot of good info on here for you guys looking to get into single digits biggest thing, as mentioned above - practice the short game dudes and putting hands down the best advise you will ever receive i see too many people go out and spend $500+ on a driver and have $20 wedges and a $5 putter you dont have to spend a lot of cash, but if you do have the $$...spend it on wedges and a putter also one thing i dont think was touched on (maybe it was as i didnt read all the pages)...know your yardages walk it out on the course AND range..know how far your hitting the ball and have a target par 3 courses are great for getting to know your irons and their yardages i have 2 broken clubs i bring w me to the range i walk out 50 & 75 yards and stick them in the ground on the range sure people laugh at me when i do it, but then i know how far i am hitting to so many shots are in that range, you need to be good at hitting those clubs you will shave a tonne of strokes off your handicapp, if your short game is good my .02
  8. 3 wedges i think is a beter choice i have had quite a few situations i wish i had a 60* in my bag.... im currently looking for a 60* Vokey Oil Can Wedge to fit my arsenal i dont carry a 3 or 5 wood, so i still have room i think 3 wedges is more beneficial than another wood/metal or hyrbid i average 285+ off the T
  9. current irons//Cleveland TA2's..there wicked
  10. couldnt agree more! i was actually telling my wife the same thing last night I thought these were "pro's"?? i am no pro golfer, merely a 7 HCP or so....in high school i was a scratch, thought i could make a career out of it...life happened..anyways, i agree, we need to see better players on this show....or maybe i should try out!!?? hahah
  11. tiger for sure....but im "young" , not to say Jack wasnt the man....
