I think Rory goes on a run now. He finally got the one he needed to really make his mark.

My wife has had several places where they have removed concerning spots. One on her ankle came back as Melanoma so they removed a larger portion of that area. She has one hell of a scar that looks like a wound from a bullet. I will have to have her look into this and ask her dermatologist about it. She now has to go every 3 months for full body scans; not exactly a fun time for her.

I agree with everything in this post. If consumers are willing to pay what the manufacturer is asking for their product, then they should continue to ask that price. People that purchase fake products as a way of saving money and not giving their money to higher priced manufacturers aren’t really saving money at all. I don’t have facts to back up this claim, but I would bet a fair amount of money that the knockoffs don’t perform as well, or last as long, as the name brands.

I put a few wads of bubble gum inside the shaft, then a few wraps of baling wire before I wrapped it in duck tape. Good as new. Time to swing away!!

At my local course we have a lot of deer that live very near the course, and of course love the easy to access grass and water. I hit a tee shot a little thin one day that produced a low line drive shot, piercing if you will. About 175 yards out was a doe standing in the fairway minding her own business. My ball hit her in the rear haunch kind of like a Charlie horse. She bucked a couple times and took off like a rocket packing a bit of a limp.

First round of the year for me was at Coyote Springs Golf Club in Mesquite, NV. I shot an 87 although I did not play that well. Putting saved me as I had no 3 putts for a total of 34 putts. Lots of scrambling and playing from the rough. Had a triple on a par 4 because I went out of bounds. I am encouraged by my ball striking and putting, but my alignment was off. Lots of pushes and pulls. I have plenty of things to work on, as always. Handicap is at 14.1.
