Day 1 Got a great session in working on center contact starting at 1/4 then 1/× and finishing with 3/4 swinging with my 6,7,8 and 9 irons. Finished off with my Driver as well. Utilized my alignment sticks and izzo swing band Also big sklz club session dispersed in this with my gold flex and swing tempo. Lots of stretching from calves, hamstrings, low back and shoulders. Did neck pt

Day 1 Week 7 Warmed up with one set of sklz gold flex, stretching and core. Started out focusing on ball striking. 10 1/4 swing with my PW utilizing blue tape to check contact followed up by 10 1/4 swings with 56* wedge. Great overall center contact with all 10 shots. Progressed to using my 52, PW, 56 & 48. I wore the Izzo smooth swing band and rotated thru each club by doing a 1/4 swing then 3/4 swing, changed clubs and repeated. Did 10 swings total per club with this pattern. Results showed incredible improvement from last week. Out of 60 shots only 1 shot was towards the toe but still completely on the groves. I hit 2 thin shots both with my 56* Wedge but I have to admit part way thru my swing I got concerned about launching the ball over the net and off of the steel ceiling. Always an exciting moment when that happens. Great, great contact day with the balance of my shots all pretty much center of the face, either top, middle or towards the bottom. Followed up with my Driver and hit 10 balls with that. I used the Izzo with that for the first 9 balls and the last ball I took it off. Not as smooth with the Driver today as it has been for the last 2 weeks. Started off with fantastic center contact then moved up to the top toe of the face. I actually popped two straight balls up over the net and WOW did that sucker ricochet all over the place. Straightened out what I was doing and finished strong center contact. I used my alignment sticks on all shots, my grip change is becoming easier to do. I have been working on that since July. 6 out 10 balls very solid center contact, 2 balls high toe and 2 pop ups.

That is what I thought you wanted and did that today. Made significant progress with starting at 1/4 swing, then 1/2 swing and 3/4 swing. Starting with 1/4 swing is something I am planning of for awhile in each of my sessions
-
@iacas 1/4 swing with my 7i and i was constantly center to center towards the hosel. Right where I have been lining up the ball to try and correct for toe contact. I did not try a 1/2 swing.
-
Good question. Should I start with 1/4 swing and then after consistent contact increase to 1/2 swing? I did start to work on what I thought is a 3/4 swing and that helps. I had that 3/4 swing taped and it is a full swing. What I thought a 1/2 swing was is actually a 3/4 swing

Little slow in posting this, still smiling over this shot. Last Saturday I played at Oldfield CC in Bluffton, SC. It was a rainy day. #2 I hit my Drive straight down the right hand side of the fairway into the bunker about 260 to 270 in the rain. Looking at my ball I was sitting about 155is out in the trap, the trap was wet so the sand was not fluffy that relieved me as I felt the shot would easier then. I went up a club as I usually do from a fairway bunker. Decent lip to clear but felt I could get my 7i up in time to do it. I went for a standard all ball contact before ground, hovered my club and nailed it perfectly. It was a beautiful looking ball and landed pin high just right at about 10' from the pin and just stuck there. Missed the putt for birdie but got my par. Still feels good thinking about how that shot felt and flew.

This is my 9i from my session this morning. 4 straight balls on the toe and finally 1 in the middle. 10 out of 20 shots on my 7i, 9, 6i & 8i all were toe today. Yesterday my first 8 balls were all toe on my 5i, 2Utility, 3Utility and 5 wood. Yesterday I adjusted better and finished strong center ball striking. Today I moved closer to the center but still towards the toe. To me the Driver seams a little odd in the fact that I am consistently finding the center of the face. Yesterday I was center to center low and today I was center to center high on the face. Any ideas what to do to work on this would be appreciated One good thing about this, I will not be prematurely wearing out the groves of my irons

Day 5 Week 6 Max out day. I build the week in my S & C program to max out of Friday, this gives me the weekend to let what muscles I have heal. Tools used, alignment sticks, Izzo smooth swing band, sklz gold flex, sklz grip tempo trainer and blue tape. Expanded core work out, expanded sklz gold flex work, kept sklz grip tempo at normal levels. As I did a lot with the sklz training clubs I throttled back on hitting the ball. I hit 40 balls today with 5 shots each on 7i, 9, 6, 8i going in that order rotating each club 1 shot at a time. I used the Izzo with each club and each shot. Finished with the Driver hitting 10 balls using the Izzo on 9 with the last ball as is. I am glad it dawned on me to grab blue tape for the face of my clubs regarding ball striking. Learning a lot

I voted 6/7 iron. I am very comfortable with my 7 iron and 5 iron but my 6 iron is one of those black sheep in my bag. I have issues with my 6 iron and it has nothing to do with the name brand of the club, it is a total mental block. Give me a 5 iron or 7 iron and I am comfortable in a GIR or nGIR. If I were to drop a club from my bag it would be the 6 iron because for some reason I can dial up my 7 iron to cover that distance. Only club in my bag I can do that. And I do not lose accuracy when I do. 7 iron is my 165 club, 5 iron is my 185 club.

Honestly, I am not worried about it. I am not scarred of COVID. I respect everyone's opinion. I work in hospitals from the smallest to the largest one's in the country. I deal with infectious control to EVS. From NYC to California during this pandemic. I know how they feel about it from an internal point of view. I was more concerned about my safety when I crossed the border in the 1990's to work in Tijuana then going into any hospital in this country today. I have and still go into the most dangerous parts of any city in this country and have done so since the 1990's as well as foreign countries. Nothing catches your attention faster then staring at an M60 Machine Gun pointed directly at the van you are in. COVID is a virus, it does not scare me. I understand other people's fear of it and respect that. There are a lot more deadly situations I can come into contact with that a mask and washing my hands frequently will not help. You seam to be a really nice guy. Hopefully when this calms down and it will we can meet and play golf together. I would really enjoy that.

I am using the week to keep me focused on getting work done on a continuous basis this off season. I am not trying annoy you, it just helps motivate me to work at getting better. I went thru the worst year of scoring in 45 years. I scored better when I was in 7th Grade then this year at 58. My GHIN went from 8.4 in 2017 to a final 18.9 this year. I had different injuries in 2018 and 2019 that kept me from playing no more then 4 rounds in each season. You may never realize how important this site is to me. It helps so much, in so many ways. From fighting depression to learning about golf. If you want I will stop mentioning the week number, I understand

First and foremost, I am sorry for you and wife's loss. My heart goes out to you. I can't stay at home. I have no choice I will lose everything. I will go bankrupt. My wife and I own our business, either we produce and sell or everything is gone. At 58 there is no more rebuilding, we have had to that to many times. We have starred down bankruptcy multiple times and saved our house from foreclosure 3 times already. This time there would be no coming back. Our company is considered an "essential industry" so the State would not shut us down. Also due to the nature of our business when I am called I travel. Either that or we do not get the business. It will go elsewhere. While I understand your statement and where it is coming from. I do let people outside of my circle at home know I have been traveling and where so they can tell me if they want to see me or not. As it is I was not around my Mother for Thanksgiving and due to travel I will not see her for Christmas. It is very painful and depressing, she is 82 and we are very close. But we both know it is for the best.

Day 4 Week 6 Warmed up with my SKLZ Gold Flex going back and forth for 10 swings and did this on cool down as well. Utilized my alignment sticks and Izzo smooth swing trainer band and painters blue tape. Clubs I focused on were 5i, 2 Utility Iron, 3 Utility Iron, 5 Wood and Driver. I put blue tape on all of the club faces to see where I was striking the face. Since I had a very productive day yesterday with the Izzo and hitting my Driver I decided to use the Izzo with all of my clubs. I went in order as listed above from 5i to 5W and hitting each club with the Izzo on 9 times. Last round I took the Izzo off and hit each club once without it. Wow, ball striking started out way on the toe almost off the toe at first with the 5i. My first 8 balls were all on the toe with the Izzo on. I started to get frustrated but stopped myself and just relaxed. Made a couple small alignment changes and then I started to move my ball striking towards the center of the face. As the session went on I kept moving to the center and then stayed pretty much on the center with all clubs. I finished up with just the Driver using the Izzo. Today my ball striking was more center high on the face where yesterday I was very consistent center low on the face. Total it was a 50 ball session. As the work day moved I have been going back and hitting chip shots with my 52* and the Izzo on. That has relaxed my arms and I am starting to get a real nice pattern of contact with the 1/4ish swing

Day 3 Week 6 Training items used today, alignment sticks, SKLZ Swing Grip Trainer, SKLZ Gold Flex, Izzo Smooth Swing Trainer Aid, Painters Blue Tape Did my sklz sets, core work out and worked on my PW, 48*, 52*, 56* and Driver as well. Blue tape is telling me a lot about contact point. Figured out why my 52* wedge has been my favorite as I consistently find the center of the club. I was surprised by my contact with my PW as I started out way out on the toe but as the session ended I was finding the center of the club. When I finished up with my Driver I used the Izzo Smooth Swing Trainer and with that I was constantly on the center of the face. I am going to continue training this week with this and my Driver. It will give me time to see if it will translate next Tuesday on the course. Great session today

Day 3 Week 6 Making progress with my grip correction, stating to become second nature. Today I got out some painters blue tape and put it on the face of my clubs to check my contact. Really helped a lot and I logged each hit to get an accurate picture of my ball striking. I worked on my 7i, 9i, 6i, 8i and Driver. I hit 10 balls with each of the irons rotating each shot in the order listed. After going thru a set of 5 shots each I pulled out my Driver and hit 5 shots with that. Once I finished with the Driver I went thru my irons again in order. Finished up with 10 shots with my Driver. Great range session utilizing my alignment sticks as well as the blue tape. I am very happy how my alignment sticks made a strong impact on my game when I played last week in South Carolina. I am going to keep using the blue tape as i get a real clear picture of each shot on the face of the club

Then you shouldn't go into a hospital. They recirculate air and pretty much always have been, same with airplanes. But I trust their air filtration systems. I am not worried about being on an airplane or in a hospital and have been since March 11th, those were NYC then and I have been multiple hospitals in So Cal as well. I mask up and wash my hands constantly but then again since I have been working in hospitals all over the country for years I always watch touch points and wash non stop. There are a lot more scary bugs you can catch in a hospital then COVID. That doesn't mean I have a cavalier attitude towards COVID, I respect this virus and I tell people before I see them when and where I have been so they can tell me if we should stay apart or not. I am very clear that I respect their decision either way. I spent most of the summer away from my 82 year old Mother and my 80 year old in-laws. Just because of travel for work.

Day 1 Week 6 Great day, just felt real nice, solid 60 minutes. Sklz Gold Flex 3 sets of 10, core work, lots of stretching mixed into hitting balls. Worked on 5i, 3Utility, 2Utility, 5W, and finished with Driver. Added in about 20 minutes of putting

Who says "My guy lost"? I don't get upset over Presidential elections and feel as I stated, this is a States Rights issue and it is up to the Governors' of each State to set what should or should not be done regarding COVID. Any President - REGARDLESS of political party - is 1,000,000% outside of their Constitutional Right to force any type of power over the people. It will get struck down in the Supreme Court and THAT would DRASTICALLY limit Congress in moving new laws or each State's Governor to set and enforce any regulations. You need to understand the Constitution or at least understand The Power of The People in getting the Constitution upheld. The President does not have the authority to place a National Interstate Travel Ban on US Citizens and the President does not have the authority to place a National Mask Mandate on US Citizens. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, I traveled to another state by plane, ate in a restaurant, played golf, went to a Wedding and had an exhausting Thanksgiving weekend.

Day 3 Week 5 Spent a chunk of time with my 8 iron on 1/4 and 1/2 swing hitting the ball. I don't know why but when I want to learn how and work on a swing my 8 iron is my go to club to start to get the feel for it.

I replied No: I use one of my wedges from PW, 48, 52, 56 as well as my Putter. I let the situation dictate the club.

I don't get that thought process "In lieu of national leadership". At what point in time do States Rights stay in place or as you seam to be insinuating disappear? The regulation of responding to covid should be at the State level as each and every state is different. While I may or may not agree with how the Governor of my state is handling covid, he is more in tune with the condition of our state then the President no matter who is and will be the President. And that applies to the 50 individual states. No President should ever place a travel ban across this entire country which if ever done then the Constitution is just a document. Plus I seriously doubt the Executive Order to do such a thing could stand up in Court. And if struck down in court then that would have a tremendous negative affect on how each could handle stay at home orders as well. The so called strong leader you maybe looking for, no matter whom that is or will be there holds and Office that stands ready to assist when called upon by an Individual State when feels it has more then it can handle. Money is usually first, that has been done. Medical personnel from the Military is next, that has been done BUT the States need to request that first or once again you are breaking the law. As difficult as this pandemic has been and is there are worse scenario's that can happen. If we allow this to break down our individual rights and personal freedoms, to break States Rights what is going to happen next time? Or more importantly, when this pandemic fizzles out and it will, will the individual rights that have been taken be given back? A strong national leader is one who stands ready to respond when called upon, not one that over reaches
